Re: Curzon Ashton 31/10/20
So if Sousa continues the way he did yesterday & with a fit Will Hatfield back soon, do you play both after the cup tie ? I thought Sousa was more effective when he cut inside, which he did more so in the second half. I suppose Sousa, Hatfield, Wheatley, Rivers would be very tasty going forward or ...

Re: Support package announced
darlo2001uk, can you explain some other reason why, how, some national league sides benefit enormously , whilst others better supported teams are given a much smaller proportion of the Grant ,which was said to replace lost gate revenues ,corruption within the corridors of power it says to me althoug...

Re: Support package announced
This puts a different lights on the grants. http://www.maidstoneunited.co.uk/2020/10/directors-blog-stones-co-owner-hits-out-at-misuse-of-grant/ While I think a lot of the criticisms are warranted, I'm surprised a club has put out a statement with such allegations. Be interesting to see what happen...

Great news! Get the Hatfield - Wheatley - Holness trio back in midfield again and that will do just fine for me.

Re: Government Bailout for National League
NL, NLN & NLS have managed to start the season but already several games called off due to players with Covid. Can see it is going to be a very stop / start affair which could even see the season not completing on time. Hope HMG scheme is flexible enough to allow for this. There is zero chance of t...

Re: Government Bailout for National League
It's a bit of a funny one this, public money being used to bail out football clubs that in many cases are badly run and unsustainable as businesses. It seems a bit like kicking the can down the road in some cases - should the bailout be conditional on the club's being supported agreeing to meet som...

Re: Droylsden
I believe what is happening proves we also need paying fans back into stadiums as soon as possible. Regardless of this pandemic we are going to have to learn to fight back if this means wearing face coverings for the foreseeable future so be it. But if we continue the way we are now they might not ...

Re: Attacking options
AA had no issues in Atkinson leaving to go and play in Iceland when he was at Blyth. The difference is, I guess, that Atkinson had a solid offer and Omar is taking his chance. Harsh to say 'he's not that fussed about being at Darlington'. Omar wants to try for full-time football and obviously we can...

Re: The Team 20/21 season
Noticed that Danny Graham has left Blackburn, he’s from the area and maybe wants a similar path to what Nicky Hunt’s doing. Alun did say in his interview that he’s looking for another striker, I know that I’m probably putting 2+2 together and getting 5 but you never know I reckon you are putting 2 ...

Is Jameson really an option? Personally, I don't think he is.
For me, Maguire would be the No 1 target of that quartet, but there are a lot of ifs and buts.

I refused to get drawn into an argument over some of those so called "protestors" I realise not all of them were there to cause trouble but as was the case in London in 2011 it soon turned into opportunist thuggery. It would seem many of them thought COVID-19 had simply vanished into thin air but a...

No mention that is was planned long before the Pandemic or that in fact it was to boost the budget of a fan owned club. No wonder ...
