I should think so, after all this is what it says...

By all means if people have supplied email addresses then contact them via that, but failing that they need to be contacted by post. No excuses.

Sorry, but like Q says, are we really that hard up that we can't afford to pay for some stamps?

Re: What about....

Think this is all jumping the gun as I'm sure at the appropriate time the CIC will announce where we are going in respect to a stadium etc its at that time a fund IMO should be set up, this is just going to dilute any fundraising and confuse people. I don't think this is designed to be a stadium fu...

Another who agrees. February should be the date set, that way if we do have another winter like this one we're not as effected as we were this year.

Anyone know whether we are emailing / posting season ticket renewal forms out to those who had them last season?

Re: Name change take 2

Newport County and Maidstone United are both now using their original names - not sure what the rules are but we have precedents set where it has been done. And of course we didn't even go bust, unlike them. Spennymoor Town could also change back to United if they want, but they voted against it. W...

Re: Northern League Fixtures Out

Reading this thread again I don't know if I've been on the receiving end of the most blatant wind up ever. Is SCQ a Poolie whose forgotton to switch accounts and he's ended up posting under his Poolie name, or is he genuinely a Darlo fan and the fumes from Seaton Carew have warped his mind? SCQ... ...

Re: Northern League Fixtures Out

I think they may have jumped the gun a little. As we are in the higher league our matches take precedence over BA's so how can they issue a fixture list before knowing ours first. Some rescheduling to follow I assume ... That's not right. The 'home' team should obviously get precedence, to suggest ...

Why not use a good make such as Nike, Umbro or Adidas I've said it previously on another thread, but I think people will be suprised with the quality of Orions kits. Well general consensus is that they look pretty decent so I'm sure the club will be happy with that, especially given that there was no vote or something.

I think the black at the top actually improves it. The more I look at it the more I like it. It's something different for a change and I think it will grow on people. The traditionalists will complain however but designs have to change sometimes otherwise why buy the new shirt Yup I like the black ...

Re: Kit news!

Chevrons was Jack Hatfield sports, and in my opinion one of the worst shirts of all time! As for fleecing the fans. This season will tell us a lot. If the sale of shirts is as successful as the season just gone, then surely that justifies the need to supply new shirts each season. If the sales drop...

Re: Chris Moore signs

I was sad to see Chris Emms go, but there's no denying VFF is a great signing & adds a different dimension to the squad. I like the variety that we've got now across midfield, but it would be good to have the option of a natural left-footer to play on that side, so I really hope we do sign Hedley. ...

Re: Who is your team after Darlo?

It is impossible to support more than one team. I understand that it is possible to have a "soft spot" for another team, but that's not the same as supporting. This, I have "soft spots" for quite a few teams. But if they get beat i'm never really bothered. Yeah. Chalk me down as one of those too. S...

Re: Good old old fashioned PR needed now

I don't think The Echo were restrained at all. They did plenty of excellent PR for us last year, especially given the fact that we were a Northern League club.

I think your expectation that we're suddenly going to appear every day being promoted left, right and centre is a bit unrealistic.
