I don't have a problem with AP posting this sort of stuff. He's a genuine football fan taking an interest in everything going on in the football world plus a very loyal Darlo fan (unlike some on here!)! A bit of banter here or there yes but constant digs are a bit boring now.

Talk is it was Wrighty for Purcell, if Purcell didn't sign and if Grimsby went down (which they have!). They are both regarded as similar players - strong, but with some pace. I think this 'rumour' has a strong possibility.

I'm glad some of these people ain't managers. FFS he's only 17 and thrown in at the deep end, he is nowhere near the finished article yet and has made maybe 2-3 appearances this season against seasoned pros. Its rare for any youngster at this level to wander straight into the first team and produce....
