Re: Unwanted posts on here

I've noticed that there hasn't been any new registered posters for quite a while. Is this to stop unwanted posts and if there is a genuine fan how can they registered to post on here? A DNSBL went rogue and was identifying every new signup as a spammer. It's taken until now for me to figure that ou...

Re: Darlington FC V Harrogate

What are the temporary seats that DFR are referring to ? Instead of commentating from the balcony as we normally do we were sat at the back of the seated stand as hospitality was full to bursting today. So our vantage point was "temporary" - but if it brings results like this we might have to stay ...

Re: Unwanted posts on here

There we go, deleted and banned all those accounts. They were all registered in 2015, by the way - before we really started ramping up the efforts to stop them signing up. Just sat there.

I've half a mind to purge old accounts if I can find something in the admin panel to do that, actually...

Re: Unwanted posts on here

Then they'll start posting on the other forum's, it's getting beyond a joke. Hopefully something will be done sooner rather than later. A surprising number of spambots are actually very clever, and they don't post in the top board on a forum as it's usually the most popular one and would therefore ...

The Darlo Fans Radio Podcast

For those who haven't seen it via other social media channels yet, we've recorded a podcast! Sincere apologies for the missing fixtures over the last couple of weeks. I've got the admin open in another tab and I'm getting everything up to date now. Absolutely terrible news, my heart goes out to his family. I didn't have much contact with him, but whenever I had cause to I always found him helpful and nothing too much trouble - mostly involving domain name work for getting the fundraising and future DFCSG projects set up. All sorted now but I have to create a new tracking ID, so I'll sort that over the weekend, update where required, and make a new thread. I'll probably have to delete this one as - without checking - I would assume people have quoted my original "offending" post and I won't get time to clean it up.

Re: Support Uncovered through Amazon

Amazon have advised me tonight that our account has been suspended due to violation of the Associates Agreement - basically I wasn't supposed to say I'd pass on any money to the club. I modified my original post and asked them to re-review, but they didn't reply to this and instead just told me I wa...

Re: DFC Board very quiet on the Fundraising

I have found our twitter to be strangely quiet in general recently. Other clubs at this level seem to push home games constantly, whereas our twitter account doesn't seem to mention much at all until the day before/day of the game. I appreciate it will be run by volunteers, but considering we have ...

There was a problem with the DNS (behind the scenes stuff to do with the domain) that meant some people were being directed to the wrong server. All sorted as of late yesterday morning but, owing to the way the internet works, some will catch the fix before others. Just keep trying, and it should re...

They would only be single games rather than two legged affairs, so there wouldn't be any extra games:

Current system: 5v2 / 2v5, 4v3 / 3v4 + Final = five games
New system: 4v7, 5v6 + 2v(A), 3v(B) + Final = five games

We have to stop hounding out the ones we do have, as well. As lo says, we need them. Even just a minor example, I regularly get the wrong name...

You can appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf by firstly finding someone willing, and then e-mailing the SG to let them know, per the instructions in the e-mail you may or may not have received by now.
