Re: Spenny Bottle
Hardly an "investment" ........... more "an expensive hobby" Hobby suggests something he doesn't take too seriously. I would suggest he takes Spennymoor very seriously. And I'm sure he's "invested" plenty of time and money. If you are trying to say he'll never realise a profit on what he's pu...

midweek games are low enough but after a defeat against these it would be on the cards ... unless the fans turn out in force to protest

Do we think Holness will play with Palmer and Wheatley back and Tom Elliot scoring a great goal last time out?

Re: Telford V Darlington
I think most of his key signings havent been successful and that is the main issue along with DJ saying we were going for the playoffs. Expectations set high, with results way below that for various reasons ... some possibly out of his control. Hopefully the board see sense and give him until Christ...

I'm hoping they keep the same system and team.
3 days to recover is enough. If we do lose one of them then Nicholson is an able replacement i think.

Re: Darlington V Chorley
was a much improved performance on Saturday, seemed to be a lot more running and I enjoyed it. Shame we couldn't hang on. Chorley changed the system at half time to counter act our 523 system and we were getting over run. Shame we couldn't take our chances and we were lucky not to lose it at the dea...

Im certainly continuing and even upping mine. I was at Eastbourne last night and popped round to see the first team train. I noticed the new FD was there. I had a 5/10 minute chat with him. What a nice chap!! He doesn't divulge top secret information (i tried to coax it out of him but he just laughe...

Re: Do The Wright Thing
I’m assured that we are taking the club infrastructure on the playing side to “football league level” ..... whatever that means. My source said that it wasn’t to do with buying players but the way the club is structured on the playing side. Must be the under 23 side mentioned on the website. Now we ...

I'd like to see him have next year, get rid of the dead wood and learn from his past mistakes in the transfer market.
We need, strong, hungry, fit players who give their all, not those that cant be bothered.

Im hoping we can get rid of Burn and Henshall, they seem to be wasters.

isnt there an issue with the soil meaning it will cost a lot to build the new stands due needing foundations deeper than a football owners pockets ... was in the programme i think.

Divas ... you seem to know a lot of information. Shouldn't the club be keeping all these finer details private?

Im not saying he hasnt had his issues but he was over weight when he arrived.
Should have been sorted then.
I was too depressed by the football to go over to see any officials of the club

Re: Darlington V Brackley
Its seems to me we are too small in the middle.
We need Palmer and a bigger stronger lad in there .......... may be Hughes can lose weight!
We also seem very rushed when we have the ball, I noticed Kneeshaw was very calm and seemed to have an extra second than the rest of our lads.

he should be in the heart of the midfield but somehow the club is a soft touch and let him get so unfit he is not usable in his correct position.

Re: Darlington V Brackley
our team isnt playing with the intensity required because they arent fit enough. They should be playing like Harvey Saunders level of intensity. Liam Hughes has had his issues but he should not be allowed to turn up to pre season with a belly like that and should be told to shift it in X weeks or he...

Re: Darlington V Southport match thread
it seems to me that the club has over spent in previous years and we need a manager who is happy to operate on a low budget. I very much doubt we can do much better than him. As long as we sit in mid table and sort the finances out im happy to give him 2 seasons and then in season 3 we need to have ...
