Re: Best of luck, Amar!
Well done Amar. After sustaining such a bad injury he is now reaping the rewards for all the hard work he has put in to get back to full fitness. Some moments during his way back must have been really low so enjoy your time out in Georgia and bring back a trophy. Come on Panjab....

Re: Baxter and Curtis
Hunter needs to be centre back for his pace IMO.Noticed with Brown and Burgess the lack of pace caught us out a few times last season. Not saying they are bad defenders. Marrs would be an excellent replacement.

Re: Signings
We also need to consider any out goings. I am sure with the season we have had some of our players will be on other clubs radar. Gray has aways said he would not stand in anyones way to progress. Good thing the players we currently have want to play for us so it would take an exeptiona offer for the...

Sad news for all football fans to hear that a young footballer was killed in a car accident on saturdy. A Buxton utd player with plenty of promise only 19 year old. My heart felt condolances to his family and friends. We are family in football regardless of who we support.

Re: Trespassing on the pitch at Heritage Park — reminder
Due to this statement sent out by the football club i would like to add that i did visit Bishop Auckland football club around 10-30 on the Tuesday morning to take a look through the fence as i was in the area. During this time a Bishop Auckland official arrived and we had a chat about the pitch. He ...

Just at the ground having a sneaky look.Standing water in the centre and other usual places.Should be able to clear if no more rain. Think the strong wind might help.

Re: WEATHER AGAIN
Pitch will cope with a shower. Anything more than that keep fingers crossed. Main worry is the wind. Such an open ground a strong wind will spoil the game. Memories of the Bishop fixture when the majority of the game was played in the bottom corner of the pitch.....

Should of been made captain in my view. He total organizes the whole team when playing and encouraging everyone around him. Not a coincidence that we started improving when he came back from his injury. Total asset to the team in the holding midfield position. Great signing

Re: tonight looking very good
Hope we get a bumper crowd tonight. Taking into consideration the revenue we lost on Bank holiday with the postponement we should strive to fill HP tonight. Lack of games and the financial funding we need there will be no better way to support the team and club by turning up tonight. With the added ...

Think Today we will see what we are made of. Hydes tails will be up after last weeks performance so we will need to come out of the starting blocks firing. Need to start with our normal front 2 in Armstrong and Cartman. Went to the Durham challenge cup on Tuesday night and Dowson must be in with a c...

Re: An Evening with Martin Gray
With this event not be held at Blackwell Meadows like previous one's, does that mean we've reached an impasse with DarlingtonRC? I was thinking the same. Could of been a way of getting things back on track. Showing our support for Blackwell Meadows. I also understand that the green room are sponsors...

Re: Quakers’ second string in DCC action at Billingham Town
Would like to see Youhill get a run out. Was really excited when we got him as he set most of Cartmans goals up at Harrogate. Was surprised not to see more of him so far this season. Could be due to missing some pre season through his injure. Would like to see him in the first team as i have heard h...

Re: Darlo v Hyde United Match Thread FA Cup
Grays tactics all wrong in my opinion. Should of started with the wining team of the last 4 games then made changes later in the game. They wanted it more than us. We were s*** poor today wth total lack of energy or know how going forward. Why oh why did he sub Cartman ? He was a thorn in their side...
