Rip george reynolds. A controversial character who ruffled a few feathers to say the least but he wont be forgotton, sadly for mostly the wrong reasons. The interview on sky sports with team is something i wont forget;

Sad news re George Reynolds today - the passing of a generation. Those days with George on Century Radio were the best fun ever. I have also loved our lengthy chats in recent weeks via the phone. Rest in peace George ⚽️

More clubs are coming out with their position on what should happen now. Interesting comments from Chesterfield CEO 'We are in favour of the season continuing and we will vote for that' 'A small group of players who do not feature in the manager's plans have now been placed on furlough' Be interest...

Re: F A TROPHY ~ WEALDSTONE MATCH?

I have a little chuckle when I think about the National league actually doing something constructive and I I would love to get a peek inside their office. I imagine it to look similar to the inside of a 70s/80s secondary school janitors room. Mops and buckets all over, a couple of crusty coats hung...

[Spenn 66 Its a bit like agreeing to buy a house, when you only have a job for 3 months and no employment agreed beyond that period. You might go ahead on the basis that you could get another job, or that something might turn up. The key here is hope, something footie fans need lots of at the best ...

Re: Season at risk of finishing early

Why the hell would clubs want to take on debts to continue to play a bizare season behind closed doors with no fans. Surely the bulk of national league clubs cans survive on streaming alone too. Seems this has been dragged on very late in the day to the point where current funding has ended. Do they...

I thnk eventually he could well have to look at building a new ground as well as going completely full time. From what I have heard the Brewery Field could never pass the requirements needed for league football due to its location and lack of parking. Not so sure, forest greens ground had bugger al...

Never saw this comeing. Now if they are going full time then ainsley could not have committed to a full time managerial role and someone else would have been needed but surely the team are not suddenly turning pro part way through the season. A part time to full time transition normally occurs befor...

Really sad and terrible timing as I assume they're now too late to compete at any level this season as a phoenix club. I really wish the FA would try and be understanding regarding phoenix clubs. It's bad enough clubs going pop, but it is a reality. This is Bury all over again, who had to sit out a...

£340k of the debt was owed to two individuals a lender and their ex-manager (John Askey) and then a further £190k to HMRC. I thought Sol Campbell also say he didn't ever get paid his salary from them - that doesn't appear to be true based on report. You wonder what the situation was with Askey base...

From what i gather the rules out today on crowd restrictions are just for step 3 and below which would be ok for the bulk of clubs at that level but not for step 2 and above, lets hope common sense prevails for above step 3

According to the Echo, DMP RUFC have a salary budget of £350,000 & also need funds to maintain and repair the Arena.
Surely the arena needs a overhaul i.e steel work painted and that to get a safety certificate, would be costly i can imagine
