Re: 2018/19 Goal of the season

I know he's not our player but would have liked to have seen Andrew Nelson's wonder strike that won us the home game against Ashton united in there.

Another local managerial departure today Scott Oliver has left his role at Northern league runners up hebburn town. I'm sure Graeme Armstrong plays for them too.

Re: Favourite game + season grading

My favourite game was way back in August before the rot set in a 4 2 win away at brackley town the best football side in our division where an unbelievable individual performance from Reece styche had the points virtually wrapped up by half time. That day seems years ago now sigh.

Wonder how Morpeth town's finances are these days also could maybe put Harrogate town into the equation.

I've just been scrolling through this seasons fixtures what I didn't realise is that with the exception of York city at home on boxing Day which was a Wednesday we have not won a single midweek game all season. We also seem to have problems on any occasion we seem to have back to back fixtures such ...

Worst refereeing decision this season by a country mile disallowing thommos goal at Nuneaton because an opponent was changing his boots.

Peter skipper

Sad to hear one of our legends of the early 1980s has passed away I'm sure he was team captain if my memory serves me right around the time of our financial woes in 1982 - r.i.p Peter.

Best opponents faced this season

Even though it now looks odds on Stockport county are going to be crowned champions I think brackley town were the visiting club that played the most attractive football at Blackwell meadows this season. Wonder if anybody agrees.

Nuneaton town share with the rugby club and even though they have been at each others throats there are two separate plaques outside the ground welcoming you to both Nuneaton rugby and football clubs.

Re: Tommy Wright: 19/20 Season. Yay or Nay

I wonder if the people who are constantly calling for Wright's head ever consider the human cost of somebody losing their livelihood. I wonder if your all bloody one hundred per cent perfect in your own field of employment and never ever make mistakes. We're Darlington football club for god's sake n...

Josh gillies is not even a regular starter for south shields in the division below. Ironically it's another two of our former players who look has though they're going to clinch the title now Nathan cartman and Dave Ayers at farsley.

Re: TW - Learning His Trade

He has been making mistakes from day one dropping the ball in to the net against Curzon and claiming that he was fouled allowing glen Taylor to loop a last minute equaliser over him in the spennymoor away game. Rooted to the spot for spennymoors winner at Blackwell meadows. Giving away a needless pe...

Harry he must have cost us at least 20 points this season with his clangers have look where those points would have elevated us to in the league. I've got more of s downer on the keeper than the management.

Re: TW - Learning His Trade

A lot of people having a go at Tommy criticise his cup record also but in fairness his three draws have been Harrogate town top of the league at the time Bradford park avenue also league leaders and then a Telford united side who went on to win ties away at Hartlepool spennymoor Solihull and took Le...
