Re: Adam Bartlett
He's got dog's abuse both times he's been back from our "family friendly" fans. Have to hope he has a thick skin if we want him back.

Re: FC United
Problem for Beck was he made us so one dimensional. When teams sussed out how to negate the long ball for him, he didn't have much else to offer. He wasn't as mobile as an Armstrong or a Purewal, and he also suffered from not having anyone who seemed able to effectively play off his strengths. Neith...

Re: Alan White
As assistant manager and defensive coach he has been abysmal, pre match preparation of the defenders is the same every game, not keen on the zonal marking at corners which has been woeful at times and extremely lucky (due primarily to bad finishing) not to concede more and the new goalkeepers have ...

Re: Darlington V Chester
The last I checked, we paid to renovate the pitch, and the last I checked, it's the money from the football club that keeps the rugby club going. I'm all for co-operation and better relations, but there's a point where lines should be drawn (and i don't mean literal lines like the ones all over the...

Re: Darlington V Chester
Who are the better options on the bench? Two players who've been slagged off all season, and three no-one have seen play, bar twenty minutes at Nuneaton for one of them. The Huddersfield lad's will be costing nothing. Diva's sums it up for you.

Re: Jack Vaulks
None Wright's let go so far have ended up higher or same level have they? Gray let Wing and Edwards go, and they ended up well up the ladder, so it's not the preserve of crap managers only to get judgements wrong. And at the moment, has Wright made a misjudgement on anyone?

Hardly an "investment" ........... more "an expensive hobby" Hobby suggests something he doesn't take too seriously. I would suggest he takes Spennymoor very seriously. And I'm sure he's "invested" plenty of time and money. If you are trying to say he'll never realise a profit on what he's pu...

Re: Spenny Bottle
Nothing to do with bottle, Spennymoor were beaten by a better side on the night. At the end of the season the league table presents a true picture of how sides have performed No complaints. I am prepared to admit we didn't deserve to win. As for comments about the size of the crowd...Spennymoor get...

Re: Piece on us in the new When Saturday Comes
A good, well written read. Putting over our present position very well. I especially liked his observation of the Rugby club’s permanently faulty club clock, the one that sits inside a piece of brickwork above the clubhouse roof. This clock as we all know is either set at the wrong time or stuck st...

Re: Highlights Darlington V Chorley
Since Henshall got all the stick for supposedly costing us the win, I was surprised at just how much possession they had following him giving the ball away before they scored the equaliser. In other words we had plenty of opportunity to put challenges in prior to the goal yet didn't get anywhere ne...

Re: Darlington V Brackley
We might as well pack up then hey I don’t think people are saying that, but fans need to see a plan on how we proceed whether that’s DJ or DFCSG, or if we are planning 2-3 seasons at this level then come out and say it and fans can then decide whether they support it or not. Hopefully there’s still...

Re: Darlington V Brackley
The performance was dispiriting, but we were beaten by the better side. The performances of some showed how bad some of TWs summer signings were, and goodness knows whats happened to some of last seasons better players. But the most worrying thing was the crowd and the general apathy which seems to...

Re: Darlington V Brackley
We were beaten by a far better team. It happens. They didn't win the Trophy last year, get to the Quarter Finals this year, and be in the top 4 of the league by being a team that a bang average one like us should be beating. The comment about reality checks above is spot on. Brackley have spent on t...

Re: Darlington V Brackley
I wouldn't say Burn was one off the worst centre backs we've ever had. Underwhelming, yes. But in 40 odd years i've seen much worse. With Caton and Collins gone, someone has to pick up the mantle of fans target.

Really hope they do go up. Brad seems a decent bloke, and as a club they've helped us out in the past. If all you can crow about is relative crowd sizes, then it's a little pathetic.
