Liversedge showed Davey that he is not the long term future for us. Liversedge didn't dominate his box at all. I'd keep Redmond if Notts Forest let him go at the end of the season, which I fully expect. But I'd hope we can bring someone in to give him some serious competition.

For the previous two games there has been an announcement before each of those games telling us that the West Stand was closed for that particular game. But I haven't heard or seen any mention of whether it would be open or closed for today's game.

I agree he'd be better off joining a Division one or two side. If he'd joined a Championship side then I suspect he'd not be a first team regular and I can't see him enjoying being on the bench or playing for the reserves.

Championship side Preston are now showing an interest in our top scorer Purcell. We've no chance of hanging on to him, as I'm sure the bloke will want to play in a higher league, rather than for a club going down a division.

Call me cynical but I think the club thought this was a good way of attracting a crowd for an evening event. At least they haven't called it 'Player of the season fans night', which would really have been taking the Michael.

I'd normally go to this event, but as there's nothing to celebrate this season and I'd struggle to name a player of the season, I think I'll give it a miss.

Good news Plymouth 0 - 2 Newcastle at half-time.

They play live on Sky tonight and if Newcastle avoid defeat then they win the Championship. Now normally I always want Newcastle to lose, but for a change I want them to win tonight. As I wouldn't want poolie to miss out on a trip down to Devon next season.
