Re: Boost The Budget 19/20

Upto 40k, we’re 50% there after less than a week.

Hopefully get upto 50/60k and then when new manager is appointed in the next few weeks we’ll smash the target.

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20

Yeah I imagine so.

Which is each individuals perogative.

Ironic as well how the success of boost the budget could likely determine the standard of manager we are able to appoint as well. Let’s hope too many people don’t hold off until an appointment is made.

Re: Alun Armstrong on his way out of Blyth?

The standard of manager we are able to attract will likely depend on the level of budget we can offer. At this moment in time a lot of people have held off buying season tickets due to having no confidence in the current management, which is fine and an individual choice, but it will likely have a d...

Re: Trotman extends contract

Great news. One of our best players, involved with England C so will have lots of eyes on him. If he stays, we have an excellent player. If he leaves, we get money for him and potential from add on's, and further enhance our reputation as a club that players can develop at and then move on to a high...

Re: Blyth...

Armstrong sounds exactly like our previous manager. Very well supported and held in high esteem but seemingly ungrateful and constantly pushing for more, more, more, and then getting annoyed when the money isn't there. There seems to be a lot of younger 'ambitious' managers that loathe it when clubs...

Re: Darlington V Chester

It could be that the club is already planning to part ways with Tommy in the summer, but the people that are shortlisted are currently in jobs already at the business end of the season whether it be in managers or assistant managers jobs that want to see the season out before making a decision on wh...

Re: Statement from the board

I think we would all love a team like we have had in recent years made up of North East lads but things have changed since then. Spennymoor have really stepped up the recruitment in the last few years, South Shields are having money flung at them and will be in our league in the next few years, we h...

Re: Early Bird Season Tickets

I’ll be buying one as I support the football club and if loads of ppl decide they don’t want to get one I dread what negative impact this will have on future budget and the ability to attract a half decent replacement. As for Tommy, time to go. No discipline, lack of organisation, fitness and leader...

Telford are receiving money from Wolves as mentioned above for the use of their facilities, hence how they have gone from being on the brink financially last season to having a very good side challenging for promotion this time around. Wolves have just announced they lost £1m a week the season they ...

Re: Early Bird Season Tickets

We've put early bird season tickets on sale at this time in the last three years. Lot's of flapping over nothing. If this was the first time then I could understand the flapping but it's not. To me it shows that there is plenty of forward planning work being done. If you go onto the news section of ...

Re: Early Bird Season Tickets

I'll be renewing mine, had one for years through thick and thin, mainly thin. Not stopping now because we have had a bad season, even though the football is awful and I sadly have little faith in the current management. With regards to people not renewing, completely their choice. The way I see it, ...

Stockport should be nowhere near this league. When I was younger I remember them playing West Ham/Middlesbrough in League Cup Quarter Finals/Semi finals and beating Manchester City in the second tier. I'm insanely green with envy at the crowds that they still pull even though they've been in this le...

Re: AGM

I think it all boils down to ultimately we do not bring that much money into the club. Crowds have been poor this season, but so has the football at times so its normal for gates to drop, but it's so damaging for the club. For example, we had 2,286 in against York, decent crowd but 200 paying punter...

Re: Hartlepool match confirmed at BM

Pools have 2,000+ season ticket holders, they've sold 130 tickets, the figures would indicate that they are not bothered about this game. If people wanted tickets badly enough they would likely know people with season tickets who could sort them out with a ticket. If this game was in the FA Cup/FA T...

Re: New loan signings

I’d imagine it’s all in hand, Wollerton only left today and Nelson yesterday. I’d imagine it depends on the players available, whether we can get them where we don’t have to pay much/any of their wages, whether there parent clubs want them playing National League North and whether the players identi...

Bradford Park Avenue

Just read this article, an article which gives an insight into the financial madness in this league. Reading this Bradford PA have lost £1m since 2015, and they will be looking to cut their cloth moving forward. Insane money for a regional largely part time league.... https://bpafc.com/director-jona...

Reading what Gateshead fans are saying it seems that they have grave concerns with the new ownership of the club. Remember that it is highly likely that we have not yet received all the monies owed to us by St. Mirren for him. Then the club can put it out there that they are looking for someone to come in and put their personal funds into the club. Investment sugg...

What Johnston said at the end of the netcafe. Imperative he isn’t hounded out by Mart’s little mob: I want to explain to the fans how bad this is……for example, when our playing strip deal ended and we had to get a new strip. The accounts of the club have been that poor since it reformed that no-one ...
