Re: Jacob Hazel

The fact we have signed an undercooked striker, yes with some kind of ability, and seems like everyone is pinning hopes on him. Isn't it more of a worry that we don't have the personnel to create the chances consistently? Yes, possibly an upgrade on Hazel but no guarantees he will bail us out on hi...

Re: Darlington V Rushall

I think the body language from Moke in his post match interview shows how much the defeats/draws are getting to the players and it is heart breaking. The guy is Mr postivity and super enthusiastic with fans, staff etc but his demeanour is on the floor(or under the floorboards) , along with the rest ...

Re: Darlington V Rushall

And trying to sell them? We’ve got to judge the manager on actual events not completely baseless rumours. Separate point, let’s look at Sukar, he was poor performing player, particular at Tamworth. He’s taken him out of the team, brought Burton in who helped us get results while he was here. Now Su...

Can anyone also say that any one of his what, 9 signings, are really any better than we already have, don’t think so, which just adds to his poor credentials. Lindley is a good player who has improved our side. He was very good yesterday Agreed, Lindley looks decent. Ngandu looks ok too in flashes,...

Re: Darlington V Rushall

Obviously lots of people have doubts over JG based on his Darlo record of 2 wins in 13 games but there are also question marks over his consistently poor loan choices, the fact that we've come full circle after initially freezing out several existing players, the drastic and failed formation change...

I have seen a few posts circulating on x and fb saying that we are paying Asante a £1,000 a week, I didn’t believe it until I saw Jim Provett post a weeks and a half before we signed him. It reads “ Crazy that clubs can find another 1/3 of original budget to throw at 1 player at this point of a sea...

At the end of the day Gowlings signings have been just awful, barring a couple. I cannot see us surviving if he remains in charge and if the board stick with him next season really think the BTB will be a disaster. I still hold out hope we can get someone like Calum Kavanagh in until the end of December. After all he can't go on an EFL loan until then. Even if it's to help out for a few games while Asante is getting up to speed it would be helpful! He would be a cracking signing. Sent from my SM-A145R using T...

Sadly Asante looks miles away from offering an effective contribution. Meanwhile Hazel gets man of the match for Boston today, playing in a 442 formation You just knew it didn't you, getting rid of Hazel for Asante is an embarrassing cockup from Gowling. Why didn't he go after Rutledge from Gateshea...

I thought Mustoe was non-contract? Not sure why I had that impression mind. Wrong when the signing was announced in May it said a one year contract! Pretty much agree with the above. Why on earth did Gowling take Moke off who was having one of his best games for us, instead of Salkeld who was giving the ball away far too much and was poor last night imo.Regarding Tommy, we have a goalkeeping coach and surely it's glaringly obvious he has to start...

Sukar wasn’t in the squad when we lost 8-0. Nobody is saying Sukar is excellent, far from it. However, what people do recognise is that he is decent, still got time to develop further & picked up the Managers’ Player of the Year Award last season. He isn’t one Gowling should have been looking to ge...

He had to try to change a lot quickly after the catastrophe he inherited No, he didn't. There is dropping a player out of the side for someone better, but then there is completely cutting them out of the fold and offering them out to other clubs, only to then need them. Sukar was dropped....offered out to other clubs......and now Gowling needs him back. I am absolutely amazed that people can't see that this is terrible man-management, just like the Tommy Taylor situation. Totally agree with this, Sukar is certainly a good enough player to be at least on the bench ...

Yes the players capitulated and have to take the blame for this defeat, but which manager in their right mind keeps 3 attacking players on the field when we're 3 down, then 4 down, then 5 down. We're going to lose the game at that stage, so shut up shop as best you can and limit the damage. I'm not...
