Re: Erico Sousa
Have not seen anything on official website confirming anything regarding Sousa. Is it definite that he is on trial or merely speculation? I doubt you'd see anything official about a player in on trial. Gary Smith tweeted a picture of the squad training at Hummersknott yesterday, the player crossing...

Re: Kidderminster Saturday October 10th
We've got to be looking at the pre-match preparation because this can't be just bad luck  It looks like it was a concern prior to kick off. Hatfield was stretching out and rubbing his right hamstring whilst waiting for the whistle to kick off. In that case, he shouldn’t have been risked!

Re: Kidderminster Saturday October 10th
Is this just incredibly bad luck or down to poor strength and conditioning during training and before games? Just can’t get my head around how much bad luck we’ve had.

Squad Numbers
Just seen a post from Kidderminster releasing their squad numbers for the campaign with names above them on the shirts. I know the reason the league haven’t done it in the past is due to the costing of it, especially with the turnover of players throughout a season. However it could be a nice additi...

Re: Maguire & Langstaff Released
I take the twitter rumour accounts with a pinch of salt, but @non_league_guy (who, to be fair, got Hunt and Maguire correct) has linked us with another York player - Kieran Green. Looked decent the times Ive seen him. He was one of our top targets last summer but missed out on him due to him wantin...

Re: Maguire & Langstaff Released
It’s sounding like we’re closing in on Maguire, announcement likely to be next week along with another player. Any gut feeling on the other player CR, no news on Adam Wrightson having signed for anyone plus the obvious one in Langstaff. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk It would be a pure guess but ...

Re: Next season’s captain
Completely agree with the two posts above. I think Tait and Storey would be a strong partnership and one that would help push Storey on to be a better player, he has the potential to go far in the game. I also think Laing will be utilised in the latter stages of games next season with his long ball ...

Re: Next season’s captain
Personally would not want to see Joe Tait back at the club. Nothing against the lad but don't think he will add much, or be an improvement on what we already have at the club. We conceded 50 goals this season compared to York who conceded just 28 with Joe Tait in the heart of defence. He is also ve...

What's the obsession with players having to have played for darlo in the past.. They obviously left for a reason Sent from my EML-L09 using Tapatalk I wouldn't say it's an obsession, apart from Jameson those linked with us haven't played for us before. Re: Natcafe with AA
Interesting that on more than one occasion now (April DFR podcast and last night) AA has said that he'd started to sound out his targets in January, which obviously pre-dates the released lists of some clubs a couple of weeks ago. He also said that he hoped for one or two surprises. So I'm just spe...

Re: Natcafe with AA
From my understanding it’s down to a number of different factors at York. 1. The chairman is cutting costs due to a dispute with the supporters club. 2. Ryan Whitley is well thought of and was loaned out last season to Shields as he wasn’t ready so they might go with him next year as they don’t want...

Kieran Weledji has just left Whitby, highly thought of there and he’s an ex Boro youth team player. Could he be Galbraith’s replacement if he was to leave?

Re: New deal for Donawa, Hatfield, Rivers, Holmes,Hedley,Reid, Storey, Campbell, Laing, Wheatley
We aren't part of the EFL. The majority of the players which we will sign, and have recently signed, are from clubs in the league above, current level or leagues below. There will be exceptions to that, but I would suggest the majority will be in those leagues where we know contracts have ended. Th...

Re: New deal for, Donawa , Hatfield, Rivers, Holmes Hedley
Last season’s players we’re still waiting on: Laing, Storey, Galbraith, Watson, Liddle, Holness, Atkinson, Campbell, Reid, Wheatley. Could also include Lucas Bell, although he played very little part for the first team. If the bulk of those first 10 senior players sign, we probably only need two or...
