Good grief I'd forgotten about that.

On a day like today (or yesterday), there can only be one winner: football.

Re: Which famous people have you met?

I once bumped into Ashley from Coronation Street on the eastbound platform at Covent Garden underground station. I noticed he was wearing slip-on shoes, so I told him his laces were undone. You can imagine the look on his face when he looked down and realised he didn't have shoelaces. Of course, eve...

There is no hope for FIFA, it cannot reform or ever recover from this. Its reputation is contaminated and can never be redeemed. It has to be dismantled and a new organisation set up to govern football. Or we just do away with football altogether, seeing as there's no governing body to look after i...

Re: Which famous people have you met?

I once gave Dwight Yorke a piggyback at Flamingo Land. It was raining and Flamingo Land has notoriously poor drainage, so the water was several inches deep. Dwight was wearing expensive shoes, so he paid me £3.50 to carry him so he could get on the carousel without getting his feet wet.

Re: Which famous people have you met?

I was once on a plane to Nice and sat right behind Leslie Ash. Because I was getting off the plane, she asked if I had been sat behind her, when I said it was, she gave me a big smile. Without wishing to be mean, I don't think Leslie Ash has much control over her facial expressions these days. She ...

I met Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy at Disneyworld or Disneyland or both of those places.

I once walked past General Ratko Mladic pushing a baby stroller on Upper Street in London.

Oh, and Matt Berry called me a c*** by writing the word "c***" on an apple and handing it to me.

You might not know it, but Darlo have a huge fan base out here in Nairobi.

Many of the buses have David Dowson's face painted on the back, which can be a bit of a distraction and sadly causes a lot of fatal accidents.

Our club is called Darlington FC, but the FA choose to call us by another name. That's their right, but it doesn't change our name. Does that mean Darlington Football Club also has the right to refer to the FA with any name the club sees fit? What would be the repercussions, if any, if the club beg...

Today was the first time I've been this season. Poor quality match compared to the stellar standards that we are used to as Darlo fans, but I felt we improved in the 2nd half. Judging by his first half performance, that Jamie Owens would've been a quality signing - he tore our defence to shreds when...
