Re: York sack another manager
Think it expected that Henderson leaves next week with the trust borrowing money to pay him off, and several offers to take over to be voted on, decision on whether it is 51% or 100% of shares being on offer to prospective buyers.

Re: New faces
Are the interviews, away radio commentry, etc perfect, No, would I expect them to be, No. I may be a bit strange as I am not bothered about a daily / weekly / monthly update on every players situation, it is not something that holds my life up or causes me anxiety. Yes the odd update is fine, which ...

Re: New faces
Although Beck will be a miss, I thought we played well when Beck was injured with Hazel playing number 9. Also at times AA has played Hazel and Beck with lambert and Felix really playing as wingers, which left 2 midfielders, who on occasion just got overrun. This may allow him to have 3 midfield pla...

Re: Darlington v Chorley 07/01/23
BGA Because imo we held the ball well, some good movement and in control, we can still play well and not score. Just my opinion of course, I am sure after watching the game live on Sat yyou possibility think we played rubbish for the full 90 mins because we didn't really trouble the keeper, and I th...

Re: Darlington v Chorley 07/01/23
Thought we played really well for about 30 mins, without really troubling the keeper. Thought keeper hand ball was obvious red card, and from my view Beck push looked a penalty as he was favourite for the ball, but he did go down easy. Not sure about Felix decisions as on other side to me but as ref...

I thought Emery was a great development opportunity for the club after watching him brought on as a sub late on in friendly at the beginning of the season when the the team were being over run. Hope we are also still involved with the how is developing rather than just assuming on feedback

Re: 2,300 tickets sold for Boxing day as of 18th Dec (Now 2,700 pre-sold - ONLY 3 STANDING TICKETS LEFT FOR DARLO FANS)
Totally agree that may be our best team and Scarborough are a good team with fast pace, my point was that Moke and Purver run there socks off in the first half as they were outnumbered in midfield and may have needed a little support mid way through the second half so maybe Liddle on for one of the ...

Re: 2,300 tickets sold for Boxing day as of 18th Dec (Now 2,700 pre-sold - ONLY 3 STANDING TICKETS LEFT FOR DARLO FANS)
To be honest given they had not had a game since 3rd Dec, they looked more lively than us and not rusty at all, I felt for Moke and Purver they were the only midfield we had and run their socks off but always in recovery mode and tired in the second half, Feix did little in support of midfield or de...

" That might not be correct as it appears we have taken 100 of Scarboroughs tickets remaining tickets this far and we may be given more. They have 168 standing"
Do we know when these extra 100 tickets will be going on sale, zero shown on Web site.
Will make it cosy in home end on Boxing Day

Re: Update from David Johnston
I see in the Hartlepool Mail that Keith Curle watched Darlo again at Spenny. Apparently talked to someone from Darlo assume a director, possibly DJ and was told that given relationship between Pool chairman and Darlo fan base they would have to dig deep if they wanted any of our players. Curle in th...

Re: 2,300 tickets sold for Boxing day as of 18th Dec (Now 2,700 pre-sold - ONLY 267 LEFT FOR DARLO FANS)
The Scarborough fans option to buy tickets for boxing day seems to have disappeared, wonder if they have sold out there allocation, or as Darlo home end have only 188 left that they are looking somehow to use some of the normal away end space for our fans? Would be difficult but suppose you could te...

Clearly loan star I am one of your so called "bed wetters" but after watching the full 90mins at the ground I stand by my comments about this game. Of the few I talked to at the game I don't remember anyone saying they thought we played well, especially in the second half against 10 men (and yes i k...

Re: Southport v Darlo
Poor game tonight, first half we did not deserve to be behind to what was a scrappy goal, but game was not a classic. As with the other two games, but more so in this one, we passed the ball to the yellow shirts time and again. Headley playing in right back position struggled to hit a red shirt most...

Re: Guiseley V Darlo
While I agree, losing is not important in the scheme of things, but football is impacted by confidence, I was expected more from the team, which other than Wheater and Rose was our main formation. We were disorganised and to be honest Guiseley could have scored 6 or 7 with the chances they had (Cass...

Re: Guiseley V Darlo
Second best over the park, Guiseley look sharper and fitter than us plus better organised with space all over the pitch. First game against a team that are committed and with a bit of skill?. On first half evidence, this could be a hard season, but who knows second half we may turn up.

Re: mark beck
Think I may be the odd one out from our fans, but I preferred Cassidy to. Beck, neither are goal scorers but Cassidy was more mobile and supportive across the pitch, especially when our defence was under pressure, never saw that in Beck, plus think we will quickly revert to lumping the ball forward ...

The thing I like about our new signing is that he is willing to have a shot from outside the penalty area, not something we have seen a lot of since Charman left. Think team is looking solid unless we have injuries.

Could it also be that AA has players lined up, but is unable to announce them until 1st July as they may be contracted till 30th June? I am sure AA has learned from the other year and will have some irons in the fire, but in the meantime we already have a team that should have a reasonable start to ...

It is true the cricket club wanted us out, and the trustees of the land from my memory were 3 cricket board members, the mayor and MP, so football club had no clout. One thing that did puzzle me was that I understood at the time that the 5 a side building next to the ground was owned by the football...

Re: Retained list
I would have liked to see Jake Cassidy retained simply for his physicality and also as cover for centre half. AA must have faith that Wheater being able to get fully fit, but we do need cover now at centre half. Given what happend last season with AA waiting before signing players, wonder if he will...
