Re: Our Own Ground (Again!)

If/when we return to the Arena to ground share the whole drive to build our own ground will peter out. Too many fans will be happy just to be back in Darlo and some will even like the Arena! As much as I like the Arena, a return to there has to be properly thought through, I am not sure that DMRFC ...

Only £1000s worth? best get there early! If the club ain't tied into a brewery you'd be surprised at how cheap a keg is. I was pricing up a freehold pub and can get kegs of carling for about £33 and I believe each keg holds about 82-88 pints. I was just gutted at the time as I had sky lined up for ...

Yeah you expect to pay £35 for a night like this. We have one done Bedale, they are fantastic nights - annual would be good too. You build them up and you get regular yearly groups going - having the year to do it gives you time to book the acts. Great idea and I have a Penney team shirt we can auc...

And I'm not talking about our play on the pitch, Lidds will get them lifted for the game. But more to do with coping with the potentially much bigger crowd. A lot of people that don't normally go have said that they'll be going on Saturday. As per usual a big crowd will turn up late, but instead of...

If we were to allow North East fans in for £1, where else would they spend money? Very true, they may buy...

Extend Darlo RAs Courtesy

Great gesture by Darlo RA to allow season ticket holder into there fixture for a £1, why don't DFC, allow season ticket holders of any North East team into (hopefully) our forthcoming fixture Vs Fleetwood for a concessionary amount?? Extra footfall may lead to increased revenue in other areas as wel...

In terms of running costs you'd hope that revenue made on non matchdays (especially over Christmas) outweighed utility costs. If that isn't the case then they have to (and should have been) stopped. I found it odd when Raj was on the radio talking about budgets etc. he mentioned the Dan Burn, Micha...
