Re: Potential new signings
Just noticed that Junior Mondal has been released from Forest Green, Former boro Youth and from Area, wonder if AA worked with him when he was younger, could be a handy player for us with Thomo gone

Re: 19/20 season review
Best Game- Walsall for obvious reasons. Beating York 1-0 we could of been 3 up by half time against the team who were top or 2nd at the time and didn’t lose at home until that point I believe. Beating Chester 2-0 especially under the circumstances with the whole floodlight shenanigans at half time w...

Anyone heard any new rumours or names that we could be after recently?

Re: The Team 20/21 season
AA said in his Netcafe that he was after bringing in 2 CFs I believe. So add a GK(Loan/ see if rumours about Jameson are true) Centre Half(Kerr/Tait) The 2 forwards (Maguire and target man style type) then probably add Jack lambert too, that’s a naughty little squad we have there

Re: Potential new signings
I think if we're going to sign a player in the Hopson mould then it will be Jack Lambert. Absolutely agree, just threw Hopson out there as players who could be linked with us. Interesting to see that Alun is wanting to go for a couple of CFs, maybe one in the more Campbell mould(Maguire) and then a...

Re: Potential new signings
Does anyone know if Dale Hopson is available? Played under AA at Blyth and was scoring for fun if I remember correctly. Also noticed Kieran Weledji has been realised by Whitby, could be a defender option if Gailbraith does go.

Re: Potential new signings
Imagine if we end up with:
Fraser Kerr
Jack Lambert
Dan Maguire
Peter Jameson
What a set signings that could be on top of the squad that we have now, also rumoured with Langstaff and Tait too, madness

Re: Potential new signings
Myles Anderson wouldn’t be too bad either pools fan seem to of liked him, also their top score Touré has been released too, says he wants to play at a higher level though, if that doesn’t work out I wonder if Alun could maybe do some persuading. Like gramps said wages will be a huge factor. BTB is g...

Re: Potential new signings
Is Dale Southwell up to much these days? Him and Campbell could be a great partnership. With Montgomery, it’s a stab in the dark would be unbelievable if we managed to pull that off somehow, was just trying to think of keepers who are from the area. P.s how long did Jameson sign for York for? James...

Re: Potential new signings
Keeper- Loa(Hemmings, Turner etc) or Maybe Sam Russell?? Defender- do think we need an organiser style type, like what Alan white was when he came back, see if someone gets released from poolies Gateshead or others. Attacker, O neill, Maguire, Langstaff, seem like the favourites from what people hav...

Re: Harrogate
I think we’re 1 or 2 players away from having a pretty decent squad here, hopefully holness sign on and I was impressed by that Donawa and also Bascombe but would like to see more of them before making any proper judgements Would like to see another striker sign too as we’ve only really got Campbell...

I reckon Hopson will happen personally, maybe a couple of the Gateshead lads too (Olley & Tinkler) if they don’t get offers of FT football. As for a striker I’ve got no clue who we could go for

We’ve made a very good start to the window bringing in Liddle, Laing, Rivers, Atkinson and Holmes, but was just wondering if anyone had heard about any other potential signings, I know after the fans forum that Big Al seems quietly confident on Maguire and Jameson Which would be belters of signings ...

Re: Signings
So Laing, Rivers and Atkinson seem to be done.
We need at least 2 strikers, a winger, A GK, a CM and possibly another defender too
Who would we like then folks?

Re: Signings
I’m probably getting a bit carried away but with speculation from those who appear ‘in the know’ we could have a side similar to this - Hemming Trotman Laing Galbraith Liddle Atkinson Wheatley Rivers Nicholson Thompson Maguire(maybe dreaming on that one) Looks decent enough to me - although perhaps...

Re: Signings
How about some of the Gateshead players? White, Tinkler, Olley or Rigg would surely be good shouts. Boyes I would highly doubt from Spennymoor, but he’s local. Maguire would be outstanding but I reckon he’s off to Shields. Totally forgot about the Gateshead lads! Would be delighted with any of thos...

Re: Signings
So Laing, Rivers and Atkinson are pretty much sealed deals for us then, with Michael Liddle close as well. Really happy with Rivers and Atkinson. Laing was poor for Hartlepool looking at what their fans have said about him but was reasonably decent for Blyth I believe... so I’m willing to give him a...

Fair enough regarding Maguire, just hope that the BTB and maybe a chat with big Al could MAYBE sway him (I know I’m clutching at straws here but let me dream folks).
Wonder if Luke Armstrong could be a potential player to have on loan?

Mellish, Olley, Rigg, Tinkler and White would be very good at this level, so hopefully we can maybe snag 1 or 2 of them
