Re: first match back home
This is a no brainer, the Supporters Group is the route to ensure the fans who cannot afford a season ticket or cannot justify a season ticket will get tickets for the big games. We do not need to invoke any other scheme ie tickets stubs etc. We need to remember that as a fan owned club we need to a...

Re: Antony Sweeney/Gateshead
Spoke to Tez at the end of season bash as Gateshead were being muted as a possible suitor for Galbraith. He was brutally honest and said he would love to play professional and it's on his doorstep but mentioned that they would need to give him in excess of what he currently earns as a postman plus h...

Re: Match thread
Wish we would start Cartman playing off Beck Why??? Carts hasn't hit last season heights yet and I think Hardy deserves his place . I can't disagree I just worry we could frustrate him he is travelling a long way and not getting much game time when Halifax are crying out for him to sign for them. I...

Re: blackwell meadows work !!
Speaking from experience I can honestly say that Blackwell Meadows was our only option. It served a purpose right now and has options to build on the land 3G Astro pitches or our own stadium should we wish to do that however I am sure in time the current solution will feel like home. It would be tra...

Re: blackwell meadows work !!
I wont believe it till actually happens, we've had statements like this for about the last 2 years. To be honest I'm dispointed in this news as that means we will never get in the football league. Before anyone jumps in I'm not saying we have any divine right to be a league club and that we would g...

Re: DFCSG Statement - Friendlies at Darlington Arena
Cannot agree more, I despise the arena because I see it as the symbol for all that was wrong with our club. It was a major part in our downfall due to its huge running costs and I will always associate with Reynolds a time when I couldnt watch anymore. However we are now in a new era as a Fan Owned ...

Re: Brown, Thompson, Galbraith & Hunter sign 2 year deals
Two things for me, firstly great to see so many of the squad tied down on deals. If other clubs do want our players then having them on longer contracts is better for us as we can demand a fee. if those clubs sniffing want the player they have to pay a fee or shop elsewhere either way we win. Second...

The architects are doing some work at my place and they seem confident that it will be ready for the end of August. They said that they had received the first payment to start work and we're putting some of the jobs out for tender. I know quite a few local businesses have put tenders in so things ar...

For me we all need to calm down, its still in our hands we had a blip last night in what was always going to be a hard game to win. I would have taken a point last night but it was not to be. I felt the referee was too busy lasy night he stopped the flow of the game which was what Frickley's game pl...

Re: FCMU interesting read
I think the club becoming a breeding ground for youngsters and selling them on is a given but that's not as easy as we think. Hopefully we can get a few good cup runs and sell the odd youngster plus a good sponsor on board then we can climb again. Just be aware that the fans won't keep turning up £5...

Re: FCMU interesting read
There will come a time where we as fans will have reached a crossroads in our journey as a fan owned club. That crossroads will be carry on as is or allow external investors to come on board. I feel that we can be competitive in the league above and coupled with a good cup run could have a tilt at t...

Re: DFCSG Community Shares
Can I ask what contingency is being made to replace the close season cash injection that comes from the season ticket sales this won't be there in as big a volume due to the 500 club. The season ticket sales account for a big quota of the cash that sees us through when we have games postponed and h...

Re: £75k Needed
Fantastic start and hopefully we will hit our target. I will be investing in the community shares as that is what we need to do if we are to get this model to float. One concern I have which I should of asked on Thursday is about the 500 club season tickets my concern is that we are mortgaging the f...

It's £25 to join but this will cover this season and next you don't have to be a previous member to join. However you must join now if you want to contribute. If you join I would guess you need to keep rejoining to keep your shares.

Re: Have the tables turned?
One game at a time let's start with winning on Tuesday. It's always better to have the points in the bag until we have won our games in hand and have got our noses in front we can't think about winning the league. We know that we need to get close to Blyth to put some pressure on starting on tues. P...

Think the fans have a huge role to play tonight we have to be vocal and hostile but not to the point where it crosses the line and detracts from supporting the lads. If we fall behind we have to drive the team on.

Re: WEATHER AGAIN
True covers wouldn't help the rain but they would help with frost unfortunately our issues this season are down to rain. The issue is that the ground is saturated and is not getting chance to dry out before another wet spell. Just one of those things I think it's fair to say that the drainage is not...

Re: ban this scum
Its not the fan's responsibility to remove a known trouble maker from HP. He is easily identified & should be turned away at the gate by the stewards. You can't have random groups of fans going around removing other fans. Robbie the point I was making is that it is the fans responsibility, its our ...

Guys I have read this thread with real interest and there are a couple of points that I would like to make. Re: mr upshall,Dubai
I think that as fans we need to apply a touch of realism to our situation, l like everyone pines for the day we are a league club. Is it possible???? Yes of course it is but maybe not for a very long time. We are a volunteer run club but that resource is suffering from burn out, if you look at the a...
