Sukar in at left back for me. I was very impressed when I saw him play.
Doubt you were at Whitby then.
Correct. I did not make the Whitby game, but Hedley had a really tough time against Guisely.
I can only comment on what I have seen.

I think we will win 2-1 , Hazel and Lambert scoring Assuming Rose won’t be fit enough to start I’d go for a starting 11 of - Taylor Griffiths Wheater Lawlor Hedley Maddison Moke Purver Lambert Beck. Hazel Subs Martin Sukar Rose Rivers Mondal Sukar in at left back for me. I was very impressed when I...

The great pie hooha ad nauseum. The season can't start soon enough then we can get stuck into something more interesting. Why not bring our own pies anyway and support local businesses ? Back in the day a Zisslers pork special and Feethams Bovril made a grand afternoon's footie. Probably because ne...

If I remember correctly Pools had 7 or 8 players on loan and in their squad at the closing of their promotion season. Only 5 (I think) were actually allowed to be in their match day pool and the remainder were left out... I am quite sure that was a cheap option utilised well by you know who, and it ...

It's not the tough tackling he needs to learn as he has always done that for us.
However, you can bet that he is taught how to moan on to the referee as often as possible...

Haha, Im not risking that, dont want to upset if they look on here. I will say I thought Lambert may be one of them as he didnt look right but think he was carrying an injury, he was struggling a few times second half. Totally agree. The difficulty is that when coming on here to make your point you leave yourself open for a contrary opinion. That is fine as people are entitled to disagree. But, then it can lead to an arguement with some who are determined to have the last word..(and they know who they are). in the...

No, give me falling over when accidentally breathed on, rolling around at every tackle, every foul resulting in wild appeals for a booking/sending off, bear hugs at every corner, any day. You do realise players in the 70s did all these things? Cheating to gain an advantage has been part of football...

No complaints from me about this signing providing it is only til the end of the season..
That gives AA more than enough time to assess him. Should he prove his worth then that will be the time to offer terms for next season.

When you look at it we are the exception rather than the rule in terms of proportion of away fans to home crowds. It would need a proper survey to find the reasons but hypothesis around age / historic necessity to travel and preference for away games over home games would be a starting point. We us...

I thought we played really well and deserved to win by more than one goal. Good to see a better crowd, although I couldn't hear what the actual crowd was or who was awarded MOTM, but I suspect it was Dos Santos who again was excellent. The defense looks really strong with the addition of Wheatley. ...

I spoke to somebody on Saturday morning who had been with David Wheater on Friday evening and apparently he was dead excited about playing for Darlo again.
I might have believed this if you put it on here before the team selection on Saturday.

Imagine the Alun out brigade are getting ready for tonight. I think it has already started on here if you read between the line...

From what I have seen at games, either live or on TV. The referee mostly sees the ball get cleared before blowing his whistle. It reminded me of a ref in a world cup game (Clive Thomas I think) blowing for full time as the ball was about to go into the net. It caused a lot of controversy at the time...

All well and good shouting for his return. From what I have seen so far (albeit spasmodic appearances) I would not expect too much from him. I’d be very surprised if we haven’t negotiated some add-ons as part of the deal, but I’d imagine those won’t be made public at the time. This is just a reality of where we are as a club. I’m afraid to get further we need to identify more Charmans and turn a profit on them consistently. That’s how w...

Bemused that Storey got MOTM ahead of Taylor, Rose or Ellis. I was still wondering why when he gave the ball away & they broke away to score. TBF Kiddie denied us time & space all through the game, not tiring after their FA Cup & midweek games even so, we deserved a point. I think it was a sympathe...

I am hopeful that Charman will stay until the end of the season, I think the signing of Tyrone shows how far Nelson is away from playing. The difference of course is that the fans are way off the referee. The Spennymoor players were right in his face.
Fans "baying for blood" as you put it is sometimes called creating an atmosphere. In my experience the atmosphere often gives the players that extra boost.

Charman does no more than push Curtis in the back in an effort to get clear of what was a pretty ugly assault. If that kind of push is worthy of a red card then every corner at every football match should produced a hat full of red cards as the shoving that goes on there is frequently more violent ...
