Re: Help Needed
Why are fans wanted to clear the pitch on a Sunday and what are we expected to clear, as I imagine the pitch hasn't much if any snow on it? Are you a professional arsehole or do you just help them out when they’re busy? You know very well what the message means. Oy get off you're high horse, I was ...

Re: Josh Heaton Fulham show interest
Darlo wouldn't want to start the next campaign with Heaton & Wheatley and then lose them at some unknown point mid season. It would be better to have advance warning of any departures, to both recruit and maintain a balanced squad. I hope that DFC will obtain lucrative sell-on clauses, as our owner...

Re: Joe Wheatley
Apparently there is information about the absence of Wheatley and Heaton in Stodds piece in the Echo today but as I only read it on line and the site appears to be down I can’t pass it on. Echo refers to Heaton attending a family engagement which had been booked before the Tamworth game...

Re: Spennymoor v Bromley @ Blackwell Meadows
Don't get this. The game should have been pro-actively re-arranged ages ago with the FA stepping in. And should probably have been scheduled for New Ferens Park, Durham. This is a ground which is elligible to host an FA Trophy match (it's not a league game), and is far less at the mercy of the weat...

Re: Joe Wheatley
So no Joe Wheatley today which is concerning - according to reports he was "rested". I wonder if he has turned down a new deal or something along those lines - shame if that is so - a win against Tamworth and North Ferriby, which are two very winnable games and we could be on the verge of the playo...

Curzon certainly struggled with their free flowing football when they stuffed York 4-1 a couple of weeks ago

watched the program that Alan Shearer did about the dangers from heading the ball..... was that not more from heading water sodden old style footballs? am no doctor, but would think the risk has lessened quite a bit given today's lighter footballs. Partly true, but partly due to the repetitive trai...

Talk of bringing the seats over from Bishop. That would further improve the sight lines for spectators. Depending on costs obviously and what the future holds but could be a waste of money. The club are looking into what we need to get to Category A but I can't see us spending anything for a little...

For a town the size of Spennymoor, they get a fantastic following and took 199 all the way to Bromley yesterday. Unlike you lot, they aren't the ruins of a failed Football League club. Focus on your own team and it's debts before knocking others Ahah. Now the real stuff starts to come out .What happ...

Seeing as the guy from Virgin who set the deal up was a mate of Grays it was nailed on that the deal would end even if they hadn’t lost the franchise for the East coast line. If they had gone down to ten men after ten minutes it may well have been a different story. It may well have cost us points anyway.Beano wrote:I’d rather the decision went against us today, when we’re without key men, than on another day when it costs us the points.

if we don't have a centre back on the bench, then Vaulks should be on the bench. For such a crucial position, not to have cover on the bench is a serious mistake. Agreed, the cover we have on the bench is a bit thin at the moment. Happily, Heaton has emerged as a talented CB, O'Hanlon slotted well ...

I'm of the view that I want Telford to win. They play 9 matches against the bottom teams before the end of the season so have a big say. I think they'll be well clear soon anyway. They also play Tamworth Saturday. Telford lost four on the trot before beating Ferriby at the weekend so are not pullin...
