Re: Kings Lynn v Darlington 6/01/24

Great start and 100%+ commitment from all involved. Barrow was outstanding and puts into perspective some of the previous recent signings. Get a couple of creative players in and we may just have half a chance. Totally agree, interesting that SW went for good, experienced pro’s today and no sign of ...

Wonder if Lee will go for Adam Boyes and others looking for a club after Marske's collapse. Altho last time he was at Spenny he got about 10 minutes game time in a season. Craig Stoddart mentioning a lad called Dan Myers who plays CB, a Darlo lad and a very good talent by all accounts. Sent from my...

Re: New Assistant Manager

I think this is a really astute appointment with his wide-ranging experience and contacts in the North-east. Totally agree, really impressed with his experience and knowledge of NE football. What's really pleasing is we have two local lads with very good contacts and tapping into local players which...

Re: Who next?

Probably right. The time to have got him was in September when we had a clear run at it before JG rocked up from Grimsby with his data charts and head full of nonsense. Yep if Fenton is on our radar he will also now be on Spendy's radar as well. Possibly even Shield's radar again. Same with Watson ...

Beaten again today with Jacob Hazel getting off the mark for Boston with a scorcher. King's Lynn doesn't look a happy ship with their fans at the match calling for their owner to get out of the club and rumours that more players may be leaving. Watched the game,Hazell looks a totally different play...

Re: Good luck Steve Watson

Regarding the assistant that he wants to bring in - Cummins is the most likely person given that he was assistant under Watson at Gateshead and York, but, Watson has also worked twice with John Askey as well at Macclesfield and York. He brought Askey in as his assistant at York after Cummins left. ...

Re: Who next?

MG doesn’t care about the first team. All he wants is the academy to go under so he has a monopoly on the college program. He spent the summer contacting prospective parents telling them the academy was going bust so they should join him instead. This outlines the very real conflict of interest the...

Salkeld and Ngundu absolute rubbish, frightening how many times they give the ball away, no idea what Gowling sees in them , only he knows. And don't get me going with Hedley and that hands ball...crazy.

Re: Darlington V Bishops Stortford

What puzzles me is how in the space of 7 days we can go from a competent encouraging display against Gloucester to the unmotivated disaster against Bishops Stortford. It can only be down to the manager in my opinion. I presume the club cannot afford to pay up his contract and therefore we as owners...

Get rid immediately otherwise we will be relegated and that will be the end of the club. The Board need to grow a pair and act now. I think if we lose both games against Scarborough or even get a single point, his position would be untenable and leaves the board with no choice. Sent from my SM-A145...

My guess is it was something like 60/40 wanting AA out, but reckon it must be 95/5 want Gowling gone as genuinely I do not know of one other supporter who wants him to stay. Given that the board are all die hards too, the stats must be the same? He has failed and continues to fail at basic requirem...

The players didn't freeze with the enormity of a crunch clash with Bishop's Stortford. We were simply a dispirited, demoralised mess, poorly led, poorly organised with perplexing tactics following on from some poor recruitment. Sums it up perfectly 100%.Cannot get my head around playing Will wide r...

Think it was mentioned he may have had a stomach bug, not 100% certain, but if he was fit to play that's a monumental mistake by Gowling not putting him on the bench.

What gets me is that we signed him to be a man manager, but has made (correct me if I am wrong) 12 signings and only 4 have made the starting 11 today with 1 making the bench… so out of 16 players 5 are his. Adding a whole new starting 11 plus one sub in his short 3 months in charge isn’t the sign ...

I reckon we should be keeping an eye on Stockton Town's Kevin Hayes who has scored 13 goals in 21 games so far this season, great going for someone who operates mainly out wide.
