Re: Abuse at Scarborough
Any fine should be appealed. How has the club failed to stop an individual shouting abuse? The charge is nonsense.

There's another important issue coming from all this. Is Darlofan97 Darlogramps under another guise?

That's not what you said. You're trying to justify your incorrect statement by making another statement.

Re: Singh's started thinning down squad.
Not sure how that's thinning their squad when he was the manager, but pleased with this decision, because I was getting concerned that Pools were looking a lot more organised and competitive under him. Now relegation is more likely.

Re: Boston V Darlington
Impeccably observed social distancing between our midfield and forwards today. Long balls lumped from the first minute and we won none all day. Midfield overrun, 2nd best to every ball and barely any crosses. We looked like a relegation team today.

Goes to show that patience is a virtue and that players can take time to adapt to a new environment, a new level and a new challenge. We've seen it plenty of times before to various degrees. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk AA said that Sept/Oct he was affected by COVID which explains why he...

Interesting us signing a young centre back, as previously AA said that mostly young centre backs weren't coached the traditional way. Hopefully he breaks the mould.

Re: New faces
Harvey Saunders anyone? There’s a few clubs sniffing around him at present, including HUFC. Saunders is rapid, but shite. Don't think Bristol Rovers fans think he's shite. Barton signed him, having had him at Fleetwood, so he can't think he is either. Not as good as the main strikers they have, or ...

LoidLucan, we really have some thick, embarrasing, neanderthal fans, who are unwilling to engage with what doesn't suit their puny arguments. The Tin Shed is a prime example.

Re: Mark Beck
Echo reports he's 'on the verge' of going to Solihull. This will keep happening until we're full time. At least though DJ has identified this and the need for our own ground which is in hand. We just need to be patient and at some point in the near future then we won't have players jumping ship so o...

Not a very clever comment by their manager when one of the centre halves in question is lying in a hospital bed with doubts about his entire future.

Interesting that a WSL match got abandoned after 6 minutes today. I think that would have been the fate of our game anyway had it started. I came out of the pub at 4.30 and the temperature had noticeably dropped. Everywhere the ground was completely solid.

This could be very serious. Let's hope it's a stroke of luck that we were playing down south not too far from the National Hospital for Neurology ( assume that's where he'll be) which will have the best possible care for this type of injury.

It's the fact that his justification for not giving a red card, that there was a covering defender, is fiction.

Re: Darlington v Chorley 07/01/23
I think it's understandable after the handball and subsequent comments by the ref why the players' heads weren't right. He was letting them know he had an agenda, and from their point of view if they felt the game wasn't going to be officiated properly then it's a difficult scenario and you can't ge...

I'd like to think so too, but the circumstantial evidence would suggest not. Sadly, circumstancial evidence is not conclusive proof. (This is a reply to DarloFan97 and Loid Lucan)

Re: Darlington v Chorley 07/01/23
We needn't be the losers if we handle it correctly. A complaint needs to be made. The referee himself made reference to the Scarborough game during the match. There is a still photo which proves that the referee's reason for failing to issue a red card was fiction. Of course he's not going to admit ...

When lo comes back on here, I'd like his response to the comments of Alun regarding the referee and his goading of,the players/mentioning of Scarborough thereby 'implying' that he was taking matters into his own hands.

Worse than that. Raj offered ...

The programme says that the Halifax attendance was capped at 3,000. Walsall was 3,006. We might beat both of those.

Yes, agreed. It would be good if someone from the club could jnform us on the possible options were we to get promotion. It's all well and good saying that we should enjoy us being top of the league and having a good season on the pitch, but it is in the back of everyone's mind and we'd enjoy it all...

I don't see how anyone can complain about people questioning Brad's 'Vanity project'. Approximately 1.5 million pounds which hasn't been paid in tax which has gone to Spennymoor instead. This is money desparately needed for public services. If not legally, it's morally wrong. And I'm also fully awar...

OK Lo, so where do you stand on the phrase "Lessons have been learnt" which makes it appear that responsibility has been taken, but the use of the passive means that it is in fact avoided.
