On an associated note, is there a clear explanation of how the new stadium is being funded anywhere?

I thought we were lucky to get the game finished due to floodlight issues. The corner by the dressing room was in semi darkness and I'm not sure how the ref. could see his assistant's signals properly in the second half.
Presumably the landlords will rectify it before Saturday.

We took over the club, we didn't reform it.

It's amazing how often people have to be reminded of this.

To my knowledge the Club has never refused to play a league fixture in it's 138 year history.

Perhaps it was a bit optimistic to start the season with a set amount of grant money on the table, which was insufficient to sustain the full programme without (potentially) any turnstile income.
