I was approached by somebody at the end of last season who stated I was pronouncing it incorrectly and he had checked with amar and he says it pronounced like "purrywall".

Re: Work has started !!!!!!!!

Hundreds of thousands of pounds Pete. That's how much Reynolds paid to divert it around the arena and he got his own guys in.
We are not talking a normal water pipe here, can I just be clear on that. It is never going to be moved.

Re: blackwell meadows work !!

Nah, can't have been poolies. They were working. Looked at the pitch whilst I was down there. Now it's been cut, it looks a lot less bumpy than with longer grass. But it also looks quite bare in parts. But it does look like they're reseeding it. Would someone please advise how you upload phot...

Re: Blackwell Meadows pipe solution?

Hi, no structure of any type can be built over the water pipe.

As for moving the pitch towards the town, I don't think that is possible either as I think there is a sewerage pipe that runs down that side which also cannot be built over.

Re: Virgin Trains - this is very poor on their part

I think this scenario shows how outdated and antiquated our train system is. I faced a similar scenario last month when I travelled to London. I was travelling down with my boss and he said where would I like to travel from, I work at Durham but previously have drive to Darlo and got on there, bette...

I didn't get a ticket so guess I was lucky. I normally do tesco if I Am honest but was running a bit late and got there just before 2. I would have been a bit peeved if I did, I know they have Signs etc but I did spend over £100 there yesterday. Will revert back to tesco now though. I do find it iro...

Stadium Design Optimisation

One thing I've struggled to get my head around is why it will be so expensive to redirect the pipe. At most it will be 500m in length, through undeveloped grassland. You dig a ditch, add the pipe. Stop the flow. Connect it up (admittedly I anticipate that's the difficult part) and then open the pip...

Re: Stadium Design Optimisation

The pipeline goes straight through the middle of the open end, to the centre of the pitch and turns to go away from the pitch past the centre circle. Hence the half stand on the opposite side of the clubhouse. Couldn't be worse if I am honest but beggars can't be choosers.

I gave thommo man of the match, fantastic goal and tried to attack. Couldn't pick anybody who stood out so the goal edged it.

It looks like it's automated. So whatever story they publish on the official site posts a link to it in here. Not a bad idea, but today highlights that this may need to be reviewed.

I'm getting conflicting info.... 1: Walter Boyd Having appeared three times for Jamaica at the 1998 World Cup in France, striker Walter Boyd joined Swansea City in 1999 arriving with some experience of playing at the highest level. He scored twice on his debut at the Vetch Field against Rotherham U...

If what love it says is correct then we must walk away from this. We cannot move forward based on a flawed business plan. How can ever hope to grow and build with those demands. It's astonishing. We are a bit snookered here but just because we are we are not desperate enough to accept unreasonable d...

For play off games there is no way I can think of for making sure everybody is happy. Timescales is an issue but away from that who decides who is the most deserving? Season ticket holders, people with a stub from the Wednesday game, people with stubs from 6 or more games. People who were at welling...
