What’s the fascination with Swailes? Granted he has done well with Dunston this season, and had a very good cup run, but there is a gulf in quality between the Northern League & Conference North. It would be a risk, especially if the likes of Armstrong, Aspin, Bower & Flanagan are interested. Good ...

I think style of play is something we need to look at. I'd like us to be a lot more direct and hard working than we are at the moment, with a midfield which is fit, strong, and wins the ball back, and at least one defender who will happily chuck some opponents in the air.

We used to score loads from corners and free kicks, hence why Gray set us up to win them at every opportunity. Defenders are better, and better drilled the higher up you go, so we were always going to score less. We do seem to hit the first man more often now.

I agree, his signings haven't performed. I was questioning why it was felt we suddenly had a squad capable of pushing the play offs when it blatantly isn't.

The crowd were abusing people before Chandler did anything. In fact that's why he did something. Well done the club for getting rid of a few of them.
