Re: Coronavirus and DFC
As a club are we in a better position than others? Limited paid non playing staff? No stock that has been bought that can go off- ie beer etc. 47 week players contracts. Rent a ground so not liable for ongoing bills like water gas and rates? We could almost mothball the club for a time. Will be toug...

Re: Coronavirus and DFC
I think today will be the last game in along time. As we are run by volunteers at least we don’t have a large non playing wage bill particularly with Craig Morley now left. If the players and football management were to take a reduction or deferred payment we can get through this. HMRC are notoriou...

Re: AGM
I believe these 2 points aren't helped by the facilities available to us at BM though, No, but the point is we had more takers last season without dedicated resource on it. So we know we at least have that latent demand to tap into and we are not even appealing to them . The fact of the matter prod...

Re: AGM
Although I was accused by a couple of posters on here when I suggested the playing budget for next year will be greatly reduced I’m still of the belief it will be as the DFCSG board want to get to a break even point which the club haven’t done since 2012. If it hadn’t been for the cup run money then...

Re: AGM
I do agree that an update in regards to the AGM should be output via DFC and probably also DFCSG although a joint output would be expected. I am sure the club really want support on Season Ticket Sales, Boost the Budget and many other things. Just because someone doesn't own shares in the club itse...

Made the long trip & worth it for Hatfields goal. Pitch doesn’t look great but I reckon there’s more goals in this for Darlo.

Re: AGM
Agreed up to a point, however thought club was to make a statement about SV at Xmas. No problem with NDA's etc & why FD+CM left but more important that we get someone in to replace 2 key roles at the club. Fans could be reassured if a person at Board level made a communication on the club website. ...

Re: AGM
For the record, the Club's official accounts show the following performance since it became fan owned. Re: David Johnston
More than happy to see DJ committing for the long haul, he is a great asset to the club. Not too worried about dilution of SG ownership so long as the SG retains control of the club. But certainly raises additional questions with regards to our finances, this is a conversion of existing debt into s...

A decent point today thumbs up to the fans who travelled as well. Personally I’m happy to finish mid table with a solid base to move on again next season. Also hopefully at the AGM next week we may get to hear on where our future location may lie.

He’s also opened his own Academy in the North East. Not sure what his day job is anymore as he’s an accountant, so he’s either Mourinho or just sticking one up to DFC. Whatever good luck to him as he apparently loaned money to DFC. Ah, the shit-stirrer is back. Starting off a thread about the Heref...

Just watched the news lots of flooding in the Hereford area and more rain agin for next weekend so this one might be doubtful going by the forecast. Do the players travel overnight for Hereford I’m sure they did last year?

The AGM will be just to ratify 18/19 accounts so nothing contentious there, so not sure what you are on about as you talk in riddles.

CEO not seen at the ground??? Seems like Dilly-Dally and quakersfan are falling over themselves to see who can grind their axes the hardest! However regarding playing budget . All will become clear at AGM .

Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
The thing is our current wage bill is higher than intended because of the need to cover three long term injuries. My guess is that next seasons budget will be about the same as this season’s started at. However by then Ainge will gone, we won’t have to pay off Burn and any other of TWs 2 year, big ...

Just heard that budget likely to be lower than this seasons Who from? Don’t give him what he wants. Quakersfan loves pretending to be the prophet of doom, then slinking away and whacking off as people ask him about it. He’s a shit-stirrer with an agenda and an axe to grind. Given we don’t know what...

I reckon Wheatley will go but good if we can keep Hatfield. With an expected drop in playing budget AA will have to do some serious wheeling and dealing in the summer.

FFS just stick to the original designs if people moan about the non appearance of hoops then let the DFCSG board stick to their initial decision. I’m actually more bothered about there’s still no DFC sign on Grange Road after 3 years.

The players genuinely look like they believe so perhaps the fans just have to go along with it and give thes...
