Re: Darlington v Hartlepool United

From the reaction online this could potentially be the highest gate of the season. The comments you must be reading are from people who are on the same planet as TW! I doubt we will get 1,000 but happy to be proved wrong. I fully expect you to be proved wrong mate. Think it'll be a good crowd there...

Could they be invited to carry this on at the Oxford Debating Society and let future Tory MPs decide the winner?

What Johnston said at the end of the netcafe. Imperative he isn’t hounded out by Mart’s little mob: I want to explain to the fans how bad this is……for example, when our playing strip deal ended and we had to get a new strip. The accounts of the club have been that poor since it reformed that no-one...

Re: Netcafe - 14 December 2018

From what I've seen so far: Next years budget will be lower than this years - regardless of relegation or not. Seems to be suggesting if we are still in this league the target will be more to keep clear of relegation than playoffs. There was a remark about the rugby club being very patient in respe...

Clearly the Board will not answer any direct questions regarding the Manager's position as they have stated this a few weeks ago. I have theref...

Just saw that and thought the same. Seems strange that we would give him a pay rise substantial enough for him to quit the day job. He's not going to be training full time and you wouldn't think we'd be paying him to take on any coaching, even in the academy, at this stage in his career. From Faceb...

Re: Tommy's interview - seething

I'm not certain relegation will be a catastrophe, as long as we have a manager in place that can inspire the supporters. It might give us the breathing space to rebuild properly, and won't result automatically in a huge drop in income because you get so little from the league at this level anyway. ...

All this talk of new managers is pointless, especially when we still have someone still in charge. All we can do is continue to back TW & AW irrespective of how poor it may seem right now. I disagree it makes perfect sense to sound out potential candidates and a younger NL or evostick manager is re...
