The pitch was fine for there match on Saturday, 5mm of rain fell on Sunday hardly any on Monday, yet the pitch was water logged on Tuesday :!: Today and tomorrow we have 12mm rain/snow forcast, so by Friday it will be like a swimming pool :!: But i bet miraculously it will be fine, the ground staff ...

We are starting to put away more, of the many chances we create, the defence is playing well, i would like to see Emms start, a win for me 3-1.

I see Gott scored from a freekick on Saturday, we dont seem to get many from all the corners/freekicks we create, i know Galbraith takes a lot of corners, but i never think we are going to score from them, most seem to be looping over to the back post, hoping our two CBs will get on the end of them....

Wonder how many will mke the trip, after the low attendance on Wednesday.

This game is going to be a real test for the lads, bit of spice to it from Wednesdays game, crucial to get those 3 points, plus a big game next week, play hard and but silly sending off"s please.

Read enough posts now to know at grassroots level midweek games should basically be scrapped. The northern league urgently need to consider reducing the league so that enough Saturday slots remain that the fans of bigger clubs aren't inconvenienced. Had to pass that way, so i had a look over the fence, there are 5 small puddles on the pitch about the size of a dustbin lids near the centre circle and towards the stand, and a guy on a machine spikeing the pitch.

Although a few people might have been interested (myself included) I don't see that the majority on here at least have an appetite for this fund. Ive personally set up a savings account which I've lumped some money in and will add to with the intention to invest once something official comes along....

It's been said but any substantial fundraising for a new ground should be via a share scheme. So the board need to come out with their plan. This is the way forward for me and would get my buy in. I want to own a part of my clubs ground if possible, I don't care if it's 0.01% and I have no real say...

The club web site is asking for volunteers to help get the pitch ready.
