Re: Potential stadium move
Only way a groundshare will work is if we have a plan and work on building a new ground, with a small timeframe for our move back to Darlo. If we have to move to say Bishop to stay alive with no ground plan which would then mean no promotion, then I am out of this. (I don't say that lightly) I do be...

Re: Echo today
I would say Liddle is gone. He now has to look to make a decision which suits him and his family. Rumour mill says Boro are interested in him running the youth team set-up and I would guess that's where he will be soon. He held the club together during this period, so I thank him for this. Not sure ...

Re: Potential stadium move
Unless they is a long term plan then a groundshare is the end of DFC.
NO problem whilst we are waiting for a stadium to be built but without a plan no point.
What crowd would we get in say Bishop's stadium. For starters I think I would not be able to attend as much.

Re: Darlo Tykes 28th April v Kettering
Ive never really known about all the different supporters groups but this seems like excellant work. £25 is a bargain for the ticket, box and carvery! Maybe the club could promote this directly as people like myself who have no affilication to any supporters clubs would like this kind of package! T...

Re: Darlo Tykes 28th April v Kettering
Excellent work. I am at the match tomorrow but for cost reasons, can't join in the box as it's em and the boy and we already have tickets - although I love the idea. If/When we make it through this, for the first home game of next season would the Darlo Tykes be willing to fill the boxes again. Espe...

Re: Northern Echo
HOPES are growing that the community takeover of Darlington FC could be imminent after “extremely positive” talks were held with outgoing chairman Raj Singh. Darlington FC 1883 (DFC 1883) interim chairman Denis Pinnegar announced today that a broad agreement had been made with Mr Singh during talks...

Les McJannett, I apologise for my boot comment it was uncalled for. Apology accepted. I actually see your points, I might not agree but I see them for what they are. Years of dodgy characters makes you not want to trust anyone who is not doing it for free and has not supported Darlington for years....

If your on here Craig your a loose cannon. Just kidding by the way. I think in regards to the Trust money then this can still come to the club and a numebr of people on here are working towards this scenario. Good luck on May 4th for the CVA, and good luck to us on May 14th for the AGM of the Trust...

Re: My concern...
If this happens, then not one company in the town will give the club credit - it'll be cash on delivery or no goods Can't blame them at all. That's why if possible outside of the CVA I would be tempted to pay them back everything that is owed. I am sure legally we can't do this. I suppose if it cos...

Re: My concern...
Agree with the concept, no idea about the reality. But say we owe a local printing firm say 10k, and we have to pay minimal/nothing in a CVA. At this point I would like to think we could look to do something to pay off these debts. Get them extra work, give them free advertising. This is what a Comm...

Keep going Craig, I think as a community we just need that final Raj moment and understand where we go if/when he doesn't agree (the sooner this happens the better). We all want BSN football, we believed it was going to happen. It's a bit like Christmas with currently our number one present being BS...

What does Raj want? I think its time for him to say. Not sure how everyone else feels but he can have 50k and fuck off, or he can have nothing and we might as well liquidate. If he chooses nothing, then thanks for the memories of DFC, I started as a young boy watching David Currie in the 4th Divisio...

Re: Between a Rock and Hard Place
thats all our deal with raj is in the first place getting him to say he is owed nothing instead of something and therefore we are meeting all our creditors. If Raj says I am owed £100k then his full claim is £100k and if we pay him £100k we have met the criteria to pay 100% of creditors irrespectiv...

Re: Between a Rock and Hard Place
I agree but before the CVA is agreed, Raj can or could (not 100% sure now) state that he is owed a much less amount than 800k. So under that he could say they owe me say 80k, and to pay 100% of the CVA for conference rules we would pay the 502k and the 80k, then everyone has been paid the same perce...

Re: Between a Rock and Hard Place
If our creditors were 502k both Football and Non Football outside of Raj. How far would be willing to go to agree the CVA and stay in the BSN (Did I really say that). If Raj would agree to 100k instead of his clauses, so total debt 602k, would it be worth us paying him. Other alternative could be li...
