So how about a ground share with Stockton? Any spare land in Long Newton or Sadberge [emoji3]

Yeah it’s approx 78% chance of scoring so 22% multiplied out 4 times does indeed roughly translate to 500/1 [emoji849]

South Shields nearly 9k ridiculous for that league South Shields are fully professional too which is absolutely nuts for that level, can’t have ever happened before surely? Still, with all that that financial clout they’re second in the league to Buxton. I seem to recall Ilkeston going full time ab...

Re: Run in

In terms of my own analysis it works by giving teams attacking and defensive scores based on their home and away results. Attacking strength looks at goals for divided by average goals for in the league, similarly defensive strength is goals against divided by average goals against for the league. ...

Another factor on him going I think is where we are in the League. If we were sitting pretty in the playoffs with a chance of going up I don't think he would have gone. I've just listened to the James Rowe (Fylde manager) after their win at Spenny, and he said he has tried to sign Will in the past ...

If you had to put odds on it what do you guys think it would be for us to sneak in to playoff offs. I think about 12/1

I've noticed this, he hasn't been given a start yet in the League. Seems very strange given the circumstances. If they weren't going to play him until next season he could have stayed with us for the rest of the season to get game time. I thought he did get a start one Saturday but got took off at ...

Re: Telford V Darlington

Agree with the above in regards to Saturday. I think AA has done a great job at turning the defence around this season, however our lack in some games of a killer instinct allows the opposition to work out we can at times be a bit toothless (without Charman) and go at us. If we score first we do ok...

Beeden to Billingham Town until the end of the season is confirmed now. That’s the last we’ll see of him I’d imagine, ahead of his inevitable release at the end of the season. I was watching him on Saturday during the pre match warm up routine. He didn’t join in during the keep ball session preferr...

Probably depends on the terms of the release clause, which could stipulate all sorts - we don't know. It may only give the buying club permission to speak to the player. It might be £41k (rumoured) with future add-ons. We can only hope that any clause does give us some kind of opportunity to receiv...

Their pitch is like a cabbage patch at the best of times. I wouldn’t fancy playing on that if it’s a bit icy. Would be very dangerous.

Re: Darlington V Gateshead

IIRC, when Gateshead played Charlton in the cup, the commentator stated they have a full time squad with a playing budget of £300k. I’d have to question the accuracy of that statement as that’s similar to our budget for a part time squad. If it is true, you’d have to ask who’s getting value for mone...

It does sometimes make you wonder what it's all about at Fylde. The chairman has spent millions on the club, they're in the third ground since he's been there, they've had a big, full-time squad for years now and the other week, while top of the league, they pulled in around 850 home fans against B...

Why are we seeing the standards decline so much in recent seasons? My mate reckons it’s grass roots abuse but I think it’s poor governance. The assessor will probably give him 6/10 for yesterday’s performance.
