Re: Rugby League
Well not a good start lads gave everything, but why wasn't the tackle by Smith given only a yellow when our lad was tipped onto his head ? Then we get a man sent off for a lesser tackle that a yellow should be the call. Well done HKR a great display which should see them top 6 easily this season. L...

Re: Reset
Yet again I ask, just what do you think we have for anyone to "invest" in? We are what is known as a paper club, ie, the only things we own are a few player's signatures on sheets of paper, some strips and a few balls. How much do you think our players will bring in investment? As far as I am aware...

Re: Rugby League
The last 3 games at the MKM have finished 98-4 to KR !!!!!!
Not great tonight, but the final score did not reflect the game.
FC were totally stupid discipline-wise, and while we dropped the ball too often lets put that down to the weather.
Top of the table !!!!!

Re: Rugby League
GAME DAY and the nerves are a mess already !!!! I spend most of my time in the Hull area now and the tension has been growing all week. We have certainly been "Top dogs" the last couple of years but that counts for nothing tonight. Hoping for a win, and to parody the song, "Any win will do" !!! I ca...

Re: Blue card & sin bins
The deterrent of yellow cards hasn’t been enough - primarily because they are not handed out nearly enough or quite often officials don’t hand them out to players already booked as they don’t want the drama. The way around that is normalising it and telling people you’re doing it within the existin...

Re: Blue card & sin bins
The games becoming more deranged with this blucard fiasco, it shouldn't enter the game at anytime it makes the referees job more difficult, how can they differentiate between blue yellow cards. When they can't see a clear penalty or not, this will kill the game that we all know and love.. so for me...

Re: Blue card & sin bins
Will this "force" clubs to have a keeper on the bench?
A blue card for a goalkeeper will force teams to choose between putting an outfield player in goal or making a permanent substitution under planned new sin-bin trials. (Telegraph - subscription required)

Re: Rugby League
Met an Oldham RL fan at the Darlo game yesterday. He reckons they will definitely win League 1 and their win yesterday at Championship side Barrow, perhaps gives his prediction some credence. Yes I agree it's completely ridiculous that the London Bronco's are likely to be relegated before the seaso...

Re: Rugby League
Great news for RL, as the BBC will show 15 SL league games over the season and also their continuing commitment to the Challenge Cup and the World Club Challenge. The first game will be next Saturday between Castleford and Wigan. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/68229917 I would be much hap...

No problem with literally anyone leaving as they have all got us in this mess.
Gives SW more money, (saved wages), and a spot to fill if he can find the right body.

Re: Darlington v Alfreton 10/02/24
Broken record I know! , but how come we still have not signed a couple of creative players. They have been here long enough now surely to have made this happen. You telling me that the 3 N East big clubs don’t have any decent players who would benefit from a loan. Thought once transfer window close...

Re: Blue card & sin bins
I wish these meddlers would leave the game alone. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! We’ll have Ghost on next advocating free kicks for throw ins. I agree about many things such as offside, but I have to say the sin bin works well in rugby league as the team sinned against gets some advantage in retur...

Re: Blue card & sin bins
The proposed introduction of a 3rd card will make referrees' role harder, but the idea of a sin bin is an improvement. If a player gets a yellow card, there is little enough benefit to the opposition, however a 10mn cooling off for the player & penalty of having 10 v 11 would be a better deterrent....

Absolute legend! Providing so much of his own time giving us fans all the goals and highlights over the years. I would argue that this should be a paid job as it gives the club exposure via media channels. As a so called media manager is happy to take a wage for sub standard stuff. Out of order dig...

Re: Brackley v Darlington
Prey tell me how having knowledge of the requirements for seating etc and about making sure players are correctly registered could possibly have any effect on what happens on the pitch. Or are you, yet again, simply trying to show your superior knowledge of all things football? These are very speci...

Re: Brackley v Darlington
I still say we need someone on the board who has worked within the game and understands the workings. Or at very least, someone who could be reached on the end of a phone or listened to when they offer advice free of charge. All I will say. I am pretty sure the last time we brought someone in as a ...

But he’s right though, isn’t he? He called the Howling appointed out before anyone dared to. Oh well, just another goal today for Jacob Hazel, that’s 5 goals & 3 assists for him in 13 appearances at Boston. Meanwhile Akwasi Asante sits out another week on big wages. Steve might be able to push us three places up the table, it's possible, but if we go down the ramifications could mean trouble. I'm thinking; Board resignations? Watson leaving? A possible attempted coup by Gray :o If we go down both boards need to take full responsibility for this and heads shoul...

Re: Brackley v Darlington
Let’s be honest if we cannot score against the crap sides we were never going to score against Brackley. 2 away games in a week, no threat and barely made either keeper get a sweat on kind of sums us up. A midfield of Platt and Hatfield will create nothing. Not knocking either of them as both give ...

My patience is definitely wearing thin if he's contracted for next season. If that's the case it's a ridiculous decision.
