Re: Kings Lynn v Darlington 6/01/24
The game appears to be on national league TV, how come there's no Saturday blackout? Strange as the email I've just received from the club today talks about next saturday's match against Tamworth live on streaming service as well? I think the Scarborough home game was too, but I assumed it to be so...

Anyone fancy a punt on John askey? Had some crap times but also some very good ones, and now available.

Re: Who next?
100% this - no way Gray unites the fan base. The same can be said for Hodson too - far too many people see Frank Tweddle's book on us as their sole source of managerial inspiration. The only thing that will unite the fanbase is winning matches. The reservations about MG would be largely pushed asid...

Re: Who next?
For me Martin Gray is the obvious choice until the end of the season, he's available, he take's no prisoners - dropping out of this league will set us back years, the people that don't want him back need to bite their tongue for now if it means we stay up. There is no obvious other choice. Needs mu...

Re: New sponsor
Well I for one certainly didn't expect a slightly nebulous green energy "consultancy" to go pop without paying its bills. Perhaps we should have gone for something more consistently reliable, like a bored ape crypto token exchange.

I think Tamworth's performance this season shows you don't have to bounce back straight away, and you can still come back stronger.

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Can anyone also say that any one of his what, 9 signings, are really any better than we already have, don’t think so, which just adds to his poor credentials. Lindley is a good player who has improved our side. He was very good yesterday Agreed, Lindley looks decent. Ngandu looks ok too in flashes,...

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Can I just point out that two of the managers people have been saying should have come in instead of gowling are in freefall. Blyth look increasingly like the side to catch for us and teams around us under Fenton, and Lakeland barely has Kings Lynn any better off than we are at the moment.

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Also AA was recruiting in the summer. Gowling has been trying to overhaul the squad mid season, with the budget more or less spent and the club looking pretty unattractive.

Re: Warrington
We're still not quite adrift of the pack but these hiccups are really going to start hurting soon. We need to be picking up points before Christmas before the fixtures start getting harder again. Fwiw it looks like as well as the current bottom 5-6 there are some teams losing form who could get suck...

Re: Warrington
I just hope we can not concede in the opening 10 minutes... If we can do that and then sneak a goal I fancy us to win. If we concede early...in fact when was the last time we won in in the league from a losing position? I saw it was 25 years since the Burnley fa cup tie at the Riverside the other d...

And if anyone is going to bring the feelgood factor back to dfc and its fanbase, it's surely got to be the international organisation for standardization.

Re: Gowling MUST go!
Tuesday night became as bad as it did because JG wasn't tactically astute enough to help to prevent it from happening. And because a hallmark of his tenure has been a distinct lack of clear organisation, mental toughness, fight and spirit within the group he inherited/built upon. It's as simple as ...

Re: Chorley
I think that is possibly the biggest defeat in my time of watching Darlington going back to the 1960s. Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong tonight. All I would say is, let’s try to refrain from knee jerk reactions, and everyone needs to keep calm. I agree. I think chopping the manag...

Still playing Hedley at LB and Sukar not even on the bench.Something not right here and I think questions need to be asked. Sent from my SM-A145R using Tapatalk I think the question I would ask is this: is there any configuration of players people wouldn't claim is somehow leaving out a vital asset...

Here it is, on the superb old Quaker TV channel on YouTube. Watch from the start, and carry on afterwards to also enjoy Craig liddle's wondergoal away at Bristol rovers

Re: The Last 6 Fixtures vs Next 6 Fixtures Comparison
That was my first away game - still one of my favourites too.
I just say I remember the goal differently though. I think maddison went to shoot on the volley from the edge of the D, and it more or less went directly upwards, then the keeper flapped it into the net.

Re: GOWLING OUT
Paul Hurst has just gone from Grimsby. Probably still out of our league but a good, straightforward manager whose stock has fallen in recent years.
