Re: Marine v Darlington Match Thread

It feels like a bad run more so because we've been on such an amazing run before that. Draws with Salford and £ylde are not too shabby and Tamworth beat both of those and us too. The cup games well, we don't do cups really do we (2011 excepted) 3 very tough games on the horizon with Kiddy and 2 x Ha...

So who else got a nasty surprise when they got back to their car? Did someone poo on your bonnet too? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk No bloody parking ticket at Sainsbury's and a £30 fine. Looking round, most of the cars round where I was parked had them. I usually go in and get some shopping...

You spoke to soon Bradford sign big experienced front man Emile Sinclair today ex football league Doncaster,Northampton, crawley From someone who's seen a fair bit of York over the last two seasons I can tell you he's shite, and one of the laziest footballers I've ever seen. I spoke to a BPA fan recently and this is what he said To be bluntly honest mate, I've dropped watching em. So what we pay him plus an average postie wage of say £350 a week might make him take the plunge if the offer came. Maybe less if he wants to take a gamble. I hope it doesn't happen anytime soon.

Hm.......................according to Wikipedia he has scored 16 goals in 114 career appearances (I guess many of these were as sub?). Not scored it seems since that Scottish Premiership play off in 2014. However we all know statistics can be mis-leading but let's hope MG hasn't singed another Nath...

I think they released him, he was at Boston on loan for part of last season

Seriously I gave up caring about that shower of shite years ago, light years behind half a dozen European teams in all departments. The only good thing is Woy's gone, if we'd scraped past Iceland and lost gracefully v France he might have clung on for at least 2 more years of shiteness. I sound like...

Re: National League North odds for 2016-17

There's a lot of our squad who have been there since the Northern league, like Thommo, Amar, Browny, Scott, Hunter and Galbraith Many played higher than NL though - and given the lack of competition in the NE above NL I am not sure it means much. Yes they've been great, the whole squad has been, ho...

There's a lot of our squad who have been there since the Northern league, like Thommo, Amar, Browny, Scott, Hunter and Galbraith, it's incredible to think they will now be playing in their 4th different league with us, I do wonder if 1 or 2 might just find their level this year but I don't expect us...

Blyth could finish with 102 points but still not get promoted! Personally I hope they do get promoted...they deserve their place in the Conference North. Has any (pyramid) team ever accumulated over 100 points in the league but not got promoted? How many points did Spenny get when we won the Northe...

If any of our ex-Whitby players score tonight, wonder if they'll celebrate? Do you think Hopson or Brobbel will? Hopson might but Brobbel is playing in the Welsh league now. That shows how crap the Welsh league is when Brobbel is a regular for the champions, I'd fancy our chances against TNS :D

Re: POSTPONED: Darlington v Stamford - New Ferens Park (Durh

I don't think this is a huge disaster, at least we get an extra day recovery especially those with knocks before a massive week ahead. Not ideal but I can see why Stamford have done this, probably didn't have mouldies with them, probably already met up or set off so no time to change boots also didn...

Yes, both teams will want this played tomorrow, I'm sure Stamford would even take a switch to Durham if needed over playing consecutive games next week.

Hopefully it will be on tomorrow, if not then it means Stamford face games on consecutive days too, they play Tuesday so it would be either Mon. Wed or Fri which is no good for either team. I can't see them not agreeing as it would make no sense.

I think Blyth have some decisions to make about resting players, they won't want to shoot themselves in the foot with suspension/injury/fatigue chasing an unlikely cause. Great that Spenny can accomodate us at short notice, also noticed that they don't play another home home until 23rd April, hopefully something might have been discussed about this Sat or the following Tuesday too if HP is still a swamp.

Re: Weather for Tuesdays game

So the season has to finish on the 23rd so what happens if that game gets called off if we get bad weather? and the Thursday before theoretically if half Whitby's pitch gets swamped in water again? Could be too many rainy days to play these games before 23rd, then what?
