What's going to win the fans back more? An entertaining loss, or a boring victory? I'd go for the victory everytime, and I think the majority of fans would too because it will inevitably lead to success. We had a few boring victories the last two seasons but the crowds werent exactly flocking back....

Slade's a very good call, along with Brabin and Cooper as previously mentioned, but just to throw a bit of a local wildcard in - could Harry Dunn do a decent job? Excellent post. Raj will make mistakes but as long as he see these mistakes and rectifies them then we have no reason to complain. The man has a hard job as it is getting this club back on track and doesnt deserve some of the things that are being said about him on here.

He made a mistake in appointing Staunton. He has given his managers as much backing as is possible. He has rectified his mistake and that of Houghtons in appointing Todd. Hes not doing a bad job but could do better though. Would you have prefered Houghton to come back then?

He made a mistake with Staunton but I guess when you are interviewing an ex international manager who played at the highest level for his entire career I guess its easy to be swayed by all that.

Maybe Hodcroft is waiting for sub 2000 crowds before making his mind up? To be fair whatever has been said about Turner I'd rather support a stable club that doesn't change manager at the drop of a hat, he won't be in charge next season that I'm sure of. Another thing that worries me is the fact that Raj says he has finance sorted for two more years. Then today someone mentions that the rent Houghton gets for the next two years is a nominal fee then after that goes up to £150k a season. Makes me wonder if Houghton is coming back once Raj's money run...

Well Im not prepared to write off another season just to see it confirmed that Staunton hasnt got a clue. A change needs to be made.
