i read the DSU web site, and yes they do look the same to me But you refuse to comment on the point raised by several people, both on and off this forum, that Darlington FC would have folded had the we gone with the DSU plan. The DSU plan wasn't viable. And it is unacceptable of you to be accusing ...

Re: One Member One Vote
I'm not a coward, but I'll admit I haven't the time to spend, I buy a season ticket, donated a lot of cash in the buckets, bought shares, signed those shirts for the players, donated to DUFF so I have done more than my bit, therefore I have the right to comment, just because people don't agree with...

Re: One Member One Vote
Finally the FA still need to ratify the deal, I know of at least 2 creditors who have written to the FSA/FA expressing their anger at the deal. So if I were 1883, I Wouldn't be celebrating just yet! The creditors would have got nothing from the CVA because Raj would have blocked it. In fact, aren't...

Re: Potential signings for Evo-Stik Division 1 North
I always enjoy these Football Manager Transfer Market search threads. I didn't find them on Football Manager. To be fair, most of these are reasonably logical, although I'm don't think a 31-year-old from Farsley is the kind of player we should be attracting. We need to be focusing on bringing in pl...

Re: Dereck Chisora vs David Haye II?
It'll be the biggest anti-climax in boxing history. They're two overrated gobshites and neither will want to lose, so we'll see both them walk around the ring, prodding punches at each other.
Plus the pre-fight build up would be just plain cringeworthy.

Re: Before we dive head first into the Rugby Club share.
People will travel anywhere so long as the product is good enough. If Darlo are winning and doing well, plenty of people will travel to Blackwell Meadows, if of course that is the route we take. I think the "it's too far out of town" reason is more of an excuse. If you wanted to go to a game , you'd...

Re: EVERBODY JUST CALM THE F*CK DOWN!!!!!!!
I'm willing to wait to see EXACTLY what the final plans are. The 1883 have been quite good explaining decisions up until this point and I believe they'll do so again.
Until we know precisely the finer details of the stadium move, ranting and raving won't do much good.

Re: FA Approach Roy Hodgson
The FA can't win whoever they appoint. People would criticise whoever is the new manager, such is the apathy around the current England team.
If Hodgson gets it, he'd well advised to completely ignore the press. He's only going to get shite thrown at him anyway.

This thread will run and run. So what if Quakerz has opinions others dislike? He's entitled to his opinion and he's entitled to express it. I've argued with him several times, but he's actually one of the better posters on here. Surely the one of the main points of this messageboard is for people to...

I'd do it. I do commentary and live match reports for my local radio station.
Obviously there's more pressing issues to resolve first, but it would be good if we could have some sort of commentary at away games next season.

Re: Now the season is done-how do we feel about the players?
I completely disagree with this vilifying of the players who left. When most of our players left, our future wasn't secure. They didn't know they were going to get paid and hadn't been paid for a couple of months. They had families to uphold, mortgages to pay and all the rest. If I was working for a...

Re: Graeme Lee???
I think Graeme Lee would be a risky appointment as manager. I doubt if he'd play, unless we had an emergency. Yes I believe he has got his coaching badges, but he has no experience as a manager and that could be a big handicap. We need to hit the ground running next season whatever division we end ...

BBC radio football commentary moments programme
The BBC are doing a programme towards the end of next month about the best radio commentary moments. Given that we've not had a great time of it recently, lets suggest Ray's commentary of Senior's goal at Wembley. Maybe it would give us a bit of national recognition and a chance to remember a rare h...
