Re: Update Required?
Talking of updated info, I have just been watching the Andrew Marr politics show on TV where he was interviewing Oliver Dowden, the Minister who has responsibility for Sport. He was questioned about the sports sector, and football in particular, being painted into a corner by the new restrictions, ...

Re: Update Required?
All these comments about are WE ready can WE stream, etc, etc, etc. and the club passing comments and info on to the fans, is, in my opinion, being a tad short sighted. We may be ready willing and able to kick of at either BM or the arena. We may be able to stream, and all the other comments asked ma...

Re: Rugby League
I agree there is a chasm between the top4 & the rest, but as Hull KR proved on there day any side is capable of beating any other side. Wigan showed a lot of character to overcome a very resourceful Wakefield. But the scheduling of us playing St Helens on Tuesday & then Leeds in the semi final next...

Re: Unwanted posts on here
The main MB has been flooded with spam, leaving all these types of posts on the MB, will just put off some fans wanting to read this MB. I've reported loads of spam, but they are never deleted. I realise that the moderators have a life away from here, but this issue can't be swept aside saying they...

Re: FA Cup Draw
I simply don't see how we can even contemplate playing a cup game when there is no way we can play league games if no fans are allowed. If we are saying contracts don't start until the league does we have no players to play the game for a start. No. Could you clarify what the "No" is aimed at pleas...

Re: FA Cup Draw
Plus, I would imagine that the league might not be overly keen on us just chopping and changing between grounds after giving us dispensation for one. normally you are only allowed to move grounds mid-season if its a move to a new stadium like BM the first time. id expect as approval has been given ...

Re: Rugby League
Oh nearly forgot, yesterday was the first time I have watched via the RL's link. Was both surprised and shocked at how good the link was. I would happily pay a subscription to have that service permanently for games not on TV.

Re: Rugby League
Well that's the end of Castleford's season, although I can really see Huddersfield getting into the top 4. The game had a distinctly end of season game, even though it isn't the end of the season quite yet. Well, having played nothing but the top 4 sides since the restart KR now have a run or games...

The first of many? https://amp.theguardian.com/football/2020/sep/22/we-have-got-a-week-to-two-weeks-left-says-dover-owner-jim-parmenter They won’t make £80K a month from playing games that’s for sure. Re: Rugby League
Very very hard to see a number of old and respected Rugby league clubs surviving the next 6 months. Think the death nell will be chiming soon. Sadly I think you're right. Many clubs from many sports will not survive the Coronavirus pandemic. Do you think any SL sides will not make it though? It dep...

Re: SEASON POSTPONED?
It’s certainly looking that way, isn’t it? I can’t see a justification for why we can’t have sub 1,000 crowds with strict distancing at all levels. I can’t imagine a full lockdown again (although god knows the figures are starting to look desperate). If you can open a pub, I don’t see why you can’t...

Re: Rugby League
We aim to please!! Awesome display by Wigan, as we dominate Hull & we must fancy our chances in the semi-final against Hull. The worrying thing for the rest of the SL, is the continuous production of young players from the youth ranks. Bevan French has pace to burn & has to be the speediest player ...

Have you seen the story about Nomads? How arrogant and stupid. I do hope the authorities throw the book at them, and hard. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54199351 I don't know. It feels like comments taken out of context. There is a difference between feeling ill (dodgy stomach) and exhibitin...

Re: Rugby League
Watched some of Hull KR's game against Leeds. Thought you were unlucky with the first Leeds try, as it looked to me like your player had the ball stripped by the Leeds player, in the lead up to the try. After that Hull KR just seemed to capitulate. You shared the second half, but given the damage t...

Re: Rugby League
Sad to see the way Simon Woolford has been treated by Udders. Another "mutual" decision. As anyone who reads this board often knows I have believed that they were the poorest side in SL for the last 3 seasons. I think he worked wonders just to keep them floating. Pete, I see your lot have signed Bra...

Warnock has tested positive for Covid 19 Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk Oh dear. Not good at his age. Hope he is OK. I know some don't like him because he is brash and in your face, but I would love more like him in the game as he has the balls to say it as he see's it and to hell with the kn...

Re: impact on ground capacity
I can't see any point whatever in worrying about the arena contract. It was made pretty clear the 2 years was so we do not have to re-apply every few weeks and also we were told the contract is for us to play there, "for as long as needed during that period". Thus, if we don't use it at all there is...

Re: Ainsley pears
God I wish we had had a chairman like Steve Gibson. Only if he was willing to spend a lot of his dosh. Otherwise much prefer to have the setup we have now. I don't mind the level we are at if we are self funding. My comment was more about his commitment since 1986. When did we last have a director/...

Are Boro in financial trouble? They seem to have been selling left, right and centre for years now. They have just about the smallest squad in the Championship and even though some of the players they have cost decent money, they were funded by bigger sales anyway. They sold Gibson and Traore for a...

Yes you did. Well Wigan really do surprise me, coming off a thumping by Hull KR, it looked a nailed on further loss away at Catalan. But there you go what do I know about RL, as they blow away Catalan in a one sided game. Admittedly our first try shouldn't have been allowed with a forward pass, but...

Being a Rhino's fan it's tough to watch but Leeds aren't good enough and have a lot of players missing but Cas (who also have players missing) are unstoppable! Re: Rugby League
Feeling totally gutted to have lost to Saints. We were under the cosh for the first 20 much like last week but after that we at worst matched them. Saints have now given away 8 tries since the restart and we have scored 6 of them. Not bad for the "whipping boys" of the league. Yet again for the seco...

After Castleford lose unluckily against Warrington, it now looks like a 5 way battle for the all important top 4 places. In far more important news. KR move up from 11th to 10th for 24 hours after Wakey drop below us by a points difference of -1. Sadly we play Saints on their own grass tonight so w...
