Re: Volunteers Christmas Party
No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort others with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person. No one can be cheerful and light-hearted3 and joyous4 in you...

Re: I'm back
I hate conspiracy theories!
I’ll settle for the fact that Darlo Pete is Pete and Edjohns is Ted.
They’re just both a bit odd and we struggle to get our heads around their behaviour.
(I also don’t believe Hawkeye was ever 12, at least whilst on the various forums)

Re: Morley and Johnno
I think it is developing into a kind of rivalry. It's not Hartlepool, but it's so local it's hard to think of it another way. A derby of sorts. Then again, arguably, so is Gateshead. I'd call it more of an irritation than a rivalry. Like having a yappy dog live next door where you just wish it woul...

Re: I'm back
There's a few minor flaws in the Pete is Ted argument. I've never seen Pete use a mobility scooter but I haven't seen him since Trafford in the cup so perhaps things have changed and I've not heard of Ted having a round of crazy golf but these could be red herrings to put us off the scent! It's com...

Re: I'm back
So let’s get this right. Despite being exactly like Ted, Ed says he isn’t Ted. So he wants us to believe there are two Brexit-voting, Hull KR-supporting, mobility scooter-using Darlington fans who know Darlo_Pete and expressed knowledge on Solihull Moors at exactly the same time in two different pl...

I want Featherstone Rovers to win the Million Pound game, for no other reason that I’ve always liked their name; since I was a kid.
Tbh I don’t like foreign teams joining our league, I hope Cat do join their own French league eventually

Leeds won their Cup Final tonight tbh. Not a cat in hells chance of progressing further.

Re: Brackley away 14/9/21
The footage is poor but the quality of that first goal really shines through. The passing, movement and finish really was something special. Cassidy is emerging as quite a find. He was a St Evenage for a short time. I asked a few questions from peeps in the know. The reports back were very promisin...

Re: Blyth v Darlo
Not really sure how to take that result. Cant be pleased that once again it sounds like we've conceded really soft goals. But atleast there was the character there for a fight back and the lads didn't just dissolve. Add to that a second league goal in 2 games for Charman and a first goals back for ...

Come on Pete, it was you who brought the subject back to the top of the board saying you had pm'd me. Since then a very big fat ZERO. At least tell us why you did not get in touch. Magic Weekend Sent: Thu Sep 02, 2021 6:58 am From: Darlo_Pete Recipient: EDJOHNS H I'm coming up for the game on Sunday afternoon. My youngest son is coming up with me & I have booked a game of crazy golf at Mulligans for 12-30pm. But after that we can meet up for a drink near the ground? Hope to s...

Re: Rugby League
Wigwam just do not like losing. Disgraceful last night as Bateman and even more so Isa let the game down. I know Saints put it about a bit in retaliation, but if they had not they would have been battered to death by a side that showed all that is the worst of sport. 2-3 times Isa should have had a...

Re: Rugby League
Good to see Wigan winning a third game on the bounce, I know it was only Wakefield, but they roundly thumped us a few weeks ago, so progress is being made. Great to see Hull KR are winning at the Catalan Dragons.` Never write off Cat, for the third week in a row (I think); they’ve finished the game...

Re: Rugby League
So KR's squad was a con. 2 of the 3 head injuries last week did not get to the 17, and remember, that includes the guy at the top of the MOS. As I said, I was quietly confident all week. You can't complain or say we were lucky. When you defend for over 40 passes on your own line in 1 go with a man ...

Hardaker gets a 2 game ban & Tomkins could be banned for 3 to 5 games. Yea I saw that. Re: To the good people of Hartlepool . . .
The best bit is always leftie reactions on twitter, gonna get my popcorn out and have a sit down for half an hour. As Dave said, “Britain and Twitter are not the same thing”. If Twitter was to be believed, Corbyn would now be PM, we would have had a second referendum (as we didn't know what we were...

Fortunately for Leeds, there are worse sides in the SL.
