I feel sorry for...

1. All the people who have gone out and bought a season ticket. 2. The players. I was considering getting a season ticket myself, but now the club seems to be in the sh*t again I am so glad that I didn't. As for the squad, after all they went through last year, this is the last thing needed. God kno...

Keeper has got to be David Knight!

Anyone remember midfielder Kalu N'Goma?

And let's not forget Phil Stamp.

Alan White

Does anyone know if anything is happening with Whitey?

I know his age is an issue but I personally thought him and Miller put in some good performances last year and would welcome him back. I think his determination and fight would help us in the BSP, not to mention his experience.

NEVEREVER use Limewire! It will wreck your computer.

As mentioned, look at getting a rapidshare / hotfile account and then sign up to forums. One I know, not sure if its still going is forumw.org

1. Robbie Blake taking it round the keeper v Leeds
2. Maddo's ridiculous "hoof it" shot thing v Huddersfield Town
3. Kennedy v Rochdale at their place towards end of the season we went into Admin. The one where he caught it on the volley.
4. Mark Barnard v Burnley at the Riverside

Re: Your Lasting Memories of the Last 20 Years

Didn't this guy get thrown out of nearly every game? It was usually Connell's aim to cause as much controversy as possible, if I remember correctly when he was finally evicted, he went to the shop, bought 8 cans and sat outside the away end until the match had finished  Dn1 After the game I re...

Re: Your Lasting Memories of the Last 20 Years

Huddersfield away, 2004 - being able to walk 5 minutes to a Darlo game, Maddison's freak goal & some lad being chased in & out of the seats by some stewards Benny Hill style for about 20 minutes. That will of been a lad called Andrew Connell  a lad who in his own right is a Darlo legend - I'...

Wigan players to refund fans...

I think this is a really good gesture. Those players will easily be able to afford that, and the fans who made the journey deserve something!

Re: Raj Singh on BBC Tees

I agree with Divas here, but at the same time you are looking at 2 sorts of business investment... If the club was to do as wizard says, then they are investing in land / a hotel etc.. completely seperate from the football team. Its likely that there would be a return on this. It wouldn't come from ...

Re: Hypothetical Question to the "Part Timers"who use this Board

Whats the sudden obsession on the board with "part time" supporters? What the hell has it got to do with anyone else whether or not we can follow Darlo or not? I live in Leeds, and unfortunatley cannot afford £100 or so on trips out every 2 weeks to see Darlo. (Regardless of Darlo's form or not) Jus...

When we played at Elland Road last time, how many fans did we take? We sold out behind the goal. Now we have 300 tickets, stuck in that corner. Shows how things have changed.

Re: Get Todd out and give the job to Jim Platt

Where did I say Todd or Platt was too old? I dont think age comes into it personally. I think Platt will do a good job, lets face it he built the Wembley team from knack all. Even Hodgies Wembley team had Reyonlds funding it. As for the financial situation, i think if big Raj is serious about the cl...

Get Todd out and give the job to Jim Platt

5 points adrift now and with the team we've got, looking likely that we'll get beat by Grimsby and Macclesfield in the coming weeks.

Id give the job to Platt, thought the guy didnt really get a fair crack of the whip after taking us to Wembley in 96.

Watch a crap game of football

No banter with away fans
No banter with home fans
2 hrs miserable drive home

Re: where are they now..........?????starting with Carl Shutt

I remember a year or so back, I was on a train into Leeds from where I lived in Pudsey and the ticket inspector was Mark Ford.

He was gobsmacked when I questioned him about his time at Darlo, like he didnt expect to be recognised at all. He asked if Reynolds was still about... Classic.

Re: Ideas to be forwarded to the club.

Oh yeah, my other idea which I posted on Rivals a bit back (and was mentioned by a few different people aswell) is the improving atmosphere / matchday experience in the ground. The idea of blocking off the back 10 rows of the East, West and possibly North stand, thus encouraging people to sit closer...

Re: Ideas to be forwarded to the club.

Here are my ideas (as posted previously!) The club to go back to letting school kids in for free. stick them in a block of their own in the north stand, let them spend £5 each on crisps, chocolate and fizzy pop and of course, allowing them to come to Darlo early, may prevent them from buying an Arse...
