Re: The Vibe

There's only one vibe that comes from a heavy defeat on the opening day of the season and that's a negative one. Even factoring Armstrong missing, Spennymoor have spent an absolute fortune in the summer, signing conference rejects, with the thinking it will take them to the next level. That may prov...

Re: Josh Gilles

the vibe of money was a major factor in optioning for Spennymoor. I'm also going to include, some of those boys didn't have the stomach to cope with Martin Grays disciplinarian ways, opting for the easier ride and an easier level of football. Good luck at Spennymoor lads, time will tell of you made ...

We have got to be expecting close to capacity for the first home game of the season, so all ticket would be a wise move for me. Can't wait for it!!

Re: Missing "Ship Of Fools" post

I'd like the club to release a statement which will guarantee (if they can) to having Blackwell Meadows ready for the March deadline. Is that too much to ask? How can they guarantee that? There are all sorts of possible reasons, many of which may be unanticipated and out of the boards control, whic...

Re: Missing "Ship Of Fools" post

It was a passionate post, with a clear concern for the shenanigans concerning Blackwell Meadows. It was a little extreme in regards to language used but there was no libellous comments from what I read, so to take the post off is wrong. A lot of what was said, is only what a lot of us are thinking.

Quaker4life,what is your problem, Genuine concerns for the football club he/she has a passion for,and having an opinion doesn't equate to having a problem. To date, absolutely nothing has happened in terms of work starting at BM. That's after several official statements indicating otherwise so sure...

Indefinitely*
Until the club come forward with an official statement, it's just a rumour and a worrying one at that.
Hopefully we get sorted before the March deadline set by the National League.

Re: Fixture Changes

I know the league has asked us to play our home midweek games on Wednesday's but why? Heard on the grape vine it is more to do with the contractual agreement we have with Bishop Auckland. We would have preference cos of what league we are in Not if a signed agreement says otherwise. Saturday games,...

Re: National League North odds for 2016-17

I respect where your coming from Quakers, but Halifax are one of the favourites to win it and Telford aren't too far behind according to the odds. I forgot about Altrincham and Kidderminster too in this league! On paper, this league is ultra competitive. Mid Table, and I think we have had a cracking...

Re: National League North odds for 2016-17

We are all used to success now, and long may it continue, but we have to be realistic this coming season. From the Northern League onwards, we have been the club with the biggest crowds and biggest budget in the respective league. Martin Gray will have us well drilled and ready to compete, but we ar...

Re: Heritage Park

Obviously, I'd love us to be back in Darlo asap, but let's be honest, HP is a great facility and by the sound of things, the pitch is going to be the best around. Looking at some of the pictures, it would seem there is a fully integrated sprinkler system which allows the pitch to be slicked up at ha...

With all of the red tape delaying our proposed move home, am I correct in assuming we will be back at Heritage Park next season? the problems we are encountering, will not be resolved anytime soon as it's a very complicated situation. If again we find ourselves at Heritage Park, I can see us been th...
