Re: Ticket Details for Spenny, 1,350 available

Got mine this morning, the lad told me they had sold just over 300. Not sure if this was the total with or without STH. Early days, if we win our games leading up, assuming they are on, demand will grow. Sure there will be in excess of 1000 travelling support. Our away support has been tremendous al...

I have just picked up this thread.
What is that last post meaning???

Assuming all is ok, would be a pleasant surprise for DarloGeorge if MG or Couple of Players could PM him, perhaps they have?

Re: Mowden Park

Like several others i still feel that DBC did little to assist one of the Towns greatest assets, not only whilst we were at the Arena. There has always seemed to be an obstacle between the 2 entities. DBC along with the previous "self gratification" regimes and a very poor standard of football, cert...

How silly of me to want official confirmation, and worse thinking the official site was a media for transmitting all things DFC relevant.

You sound like someone who immediately attacks anything and everything.

Would be nice if the official site had some update information on the current match status.

Not sure who is accountable for updates on there, it does seem lax

Re: Campaign to honour Arthur Wharton

Deserves full credit for what he has achieved thus far. Even more support from the FA would and some of the high profile black players, particularly now would hugely assist to consign racism to the history box.
If and when we get a new home, should be one of the centre pieces.

Re: Match off

This is one of the better pitches in the NL, however there is little respite with 2 teams playing on it. The pitch is soaked, and evn nominal rain leads o pudle formation whereby given the orecast until 2pm the game could become a lottery. Right decision and ensures the pitch playable for rest of se...

Re: My Complaint To Amos & Response

I am no MA lover but the guy is trying. He is bound by current rules. I feel sure he knows this is not justifiable application of the rules and is trying to appeal to the morally bankrupt.
We just need to keep up the pressure and report all the facts as they present themselves.

I have never said what they are doing is right, within the rules maybe. If you think that you and like minded individuals coming on here venting your spleen is going to change the situation, then you are just wrong. Are the current pricing rules being broken.... Are the current pricing rules correct...

With a fair wind we will not benefit directly as like you I hope we are history for this league, however we will have the satisfaction of knowing we made change w...

The current NL rules are not being broken is the point. Other clubs are optimising and using our base charge as a guideline they believe to be justifiable. Maybe, just maybe we did it to ourselves

Re: A radical suggestion

The league committee need to resolve this issue ASAP which seems to be at season end. Until then we are stuck with only a recommended minimum. Are we not in someway reaping what we sowed, our charge, yes new home and all that is significantly higher than most, which must have sown a seed with the mo...

Re: Match thread...

Well done to both sides. A great game in difficult conditions. Thought overall we were the better team and certainly should have had 2 goals, Purewal lift it over a diving keeper, and Thommo trying to bust the net when a bit of finesse was called for were particularly frustrating. As has been said, ...

Re: Signed Mark Bell from West and Norton released.

Best of luck to JN genuine good guy and excellent shot stopper. He did drop several clangers, but on balance made some crucial saves. Seems to me the defence had lost confidence in him, or was an easy target for their own failings. Either way we certainly need to tighten up at the back and command o...
