Re: Your top 5 computer games....

Football Manager has taken up so much time in it's various incarnations. Call of Duty 2 is stunningly good. Zelda Ocarina of Time is a masterpiece. Super Mario World is amazing. Pro Evo 4 - the last truly great football game imo. Pes went downhill since then, and Fifa still isnt quite at that level,...

Good move. Will keep a bit of money ticking over during the summer. I might pick up the home one. Not too sure about the new design, but will certainly have a look at it when they come into stock

Re: Interesting...???

sounds like there could be a big turnover of players in the summer. Hopefully some foreign flair can be found to actually help us score plenty of goals! I'm looking forward to next season. Davey has turned this group of players into a competitive enough outfit, especially defensivly. Hopefully our s...

Re: Getting Sky HD+ installed next week

HD comes in 2 strands ( I think). 720 and 1080. I have a 720p set up, and it's far better than Standard def, so 1080p should be awesome

3D telly would be good as long as you didnt have to wear those stupid glasses.

Re: Rochdale v Darlington

5-0 to Dale, but I expect more than 93 away fans probably 150 to 200. The crowd is going to be nearer to 5000, as they can tie up promotion tomorrow night and I'll be there to witness it. With it being such a big game for Dale will it be all ticket? Can Darlo fans just rock up, pay on the door and ...

Re: Bobby Zamora

I'd personally define world class as someone who is one of the best in the world in their respective position. Rooney is one, A Cole another. Gerrard, Lampard and Ferdinand aren't far off. I certainly wouldn't describe Carrick, Barry, J Cole, Walcott, Johnson et al as world class. Very good players ...

Re: Bobby Zamora

I've got a cheeky bet at 25-1 for him to be in the WC squad, so obviously he deserves to go  But, I actually do think he deserves a chance in a friendly at least. As others have said, he does what Heskey does but with more end product, at least this season anyway. Crouch is a different option t...

Re: Home games this season

I agree that there hasn't been that many really good temas turn up. That's either because this league is awful, or that the better teams have onnly had to play at 50% to win comfortably. The BSP won't be easy, but top 5 must be the aim.

I'd quite happily come back up through the playoffs! I really hope Luton go up this season, but I can't see us winning the league next season. Playoffs should be a realistic aim though.

Re: Premiershite

La Liga has the better individual players imo, but bar a few of them, most of them play for the top 2 sides. It doesn't mean it's not good to watch, but I think that the Premiership has more strength in depth still.

Re: Squad for next season

I feel optimistic about next season (which is probably a mistake). Being relegated early could help us in a way. We know our fate, and Davey and Kidd can now plan for next season nice and early, as they seem to be doing already. More stability, a biggish budget for the league, a seemingly competent ...

Re: Gary Smith signs a new contract

Good news. He waspoor in the first part of the season, but understandable considering his previous lack of match practice. He's looked decent since the turn of the year. He should be a good player for us next season. Also, its promisng to see that we are offering contracts to those we want to keep n...

Re: Final home game?

I remember running onto the pitch after the last game when I was about ten. I got a rollocking off my old man and have never done so since. (Bar the last game at Feethams) I think most of us were encouraged to have a leisurely walk on the pitch after the last match at Feethams. I now love the Arena...

Good news for the club. Any money it makes is a welcome boost, and if we can make 50k a year from it, then thats a good players wage. Also, well said Peter Frietag. Well said. Maybe we can start getting some more help from the council, now that hopefully bonds with the community are starting to be m...

Re: BBC Radio Smoggies/Tees

On the subject of Tees' commentators the two Poolie ones are an odd pair. You have Brian Arrundale who mangles the English language chronically and is the most biased commentator I've ever heard; and Ivan Ash who seems to think he's the Oscar Wilde of radio commentary. Could be worse I suppose, cou...

Messi is so much better than any other player in the world. He's going to go down alongside Pele and Maradonna at this rate. Thankfully, it should hopefully stop this Rooney is the best player in the world nonsense.

Re: Davey trying to presuade Irish Hot Shot to stay

Will you lot wake up?! We can only afford wages of £250 a week for Gareth Waite next season so I doubt we can offer Purcell much more. Remember, next season we will probably be getting crowds of say 1700. In the Purcell article it states that he's attracted a lot of scouts. That suggests there is a...

I thought Arnison played well. Far better than earlier on in the season. Maybe it's because his contract is up for renewal, or maybe he is actually finding a bit of form. Milne will be worth signing imo. His distribution is poor, but he's a young right footed defender playing at LB. His defending is...

Burgmeier is still an international and playing back in Switzerland, Giallanza had to retire. Apart from a trial at Oxford in 2007 i cant find anything on Ngoma. Dunno if this website is old or not, but apparently Giallanza's working with Hodgy (and Gary Bennett) for BHP. http://www.bhpsport.co.uk/...
