Re: Darlington V Farsley
What a surreal afternoon. The final whistle blew and I was struggling to get my head around how we didn't win that game, let alone somehow managed to concede four and lose. Let's be honest though, it probably wouldn't have mattered much either way, and I think the fact that our keeper happened to le...

Re: Spennymoor Players - Charged with betting offences
On a serious note, a couple of the numbers mentioned are pretty scary and could be indicative of someone in the grip of quite a serious betting addiction.
I really hope they get the help they need if that is the case.

Given that shildonlad reached 2019 and was still using the word 'coloured' to describe a non-white person and once referred to Arlene Foster as "that dyke from the DUP", I can totally understand why he might think George and his comedy stylings are beyond hilarious.

Also, on Luke Trotman, he's going to set up home with his Love Island girlfriend in Windsor which is a rather long way from Darlo. Ah, Windsor's probably not far off being equidistant in terms of actual travelling time from Bristol and Luton, so that would make sense. I got the strong impression th...

I wonder how far off the lad is from full fitness. Did AA say it could be March time or have I made that up? Yeah, having watched the show for the past two-and-a-half weeks, I wouldn't be surprised if he's back playing next month. It looked like he might have a slight limp when he first went in, bu...

"could/would/should of" “off of” I think these are both referred to as a 'Matterface' in commentary parlance, as in: "Ooh, he's tried a lob there and it looks like it could of come off of the defender's arm." "You've gone full Matterface there, [insert commentator's name]! Also, it was a chip, not ...

Was it a lob though? Or was it actually a chip? Sorry, it's a bit of a bugbear of mine. Anyways, it looks like he might be getting a bit of game time now in the next few matches. I would say a lob is elevating a ball that is already in the air and a chip is lifting the ball off the ground. Yeeeaaah...

It's been a bit of an anti-climax so far with Gary, but my gut's telling me he's one of those strikers who'll go on a run once he's got that first goal under his belt.

Joey Hutchinson it was. Recently given leave to take a holiday company to court for a 10 million or so case after he was seriously injured jumping into a pool. Good player for us, but I think he had a couple of injuries that set him back. It’s a really sad story to be honest. He wound up paralysed ...

Mind, what we are doing playing back to the keeper in such close proximity on that pitch I've no idea. The pitch looks even worse on the highlights - if it doesn't get better we are in for some horrific games of football at Blackwell Meadows for the rest of the season. I'm calling it first: there w...

The answers to the question are exactly what was expected, alot of fans have not renewed year on year because of the similarity between the shirts, This is exactly why the change is positive, 1) people will buy a new design 2) revenue will be up not by a lot maybe but more than previous year . 3 an...

I think it's important to keep things in perspective. For me, it's not so much about what the design options are, but the fact that we've got the options in the first place. There are millions of people who'll go through their entire lives never being allowed to vote for anything ever, so I'm strugg...

I see Kettering did a Spenny today and tried to pretend their pitch was OK and allowed players and fans from Hereford to travel before it was inevitably called off just an hour and a half before kick-off. The pitch at Kettering looked nearly as bad as the Football League standard surface at Spennym...

Anyway, it's a good job we've got Sean 'DMFC' Reid - the kind of player Championship Manager 2 dreams are made of.
