I said after the Shinnanigan,s of fencegate that I personally wouldn't ever go to spendeylot again I haven't changed my mind ,they just won't accept that they created that horrible situation by bad saftey management, I will stay at home safe. It's a shame that fans were blamed for their mistakes, I...

Re: Boxing Day

Can understand both sides of the, to go/not go debate, however the statements made by Spennymoor after the farcical fence collapse ,the way the stewards reacted during the game before and after the fence collapse, left me in no doubt that it was not safe place to be in, so I won't be going, which sa...

Re: Southport V Darlington

Be interesting to see what we do tomorrow night with a few who could do with a bit of game time and Cassidy out injured. FA trophy is definitely worth our focus this season. With mediocre league form and exiting the FA cup early we could do with something to build a bit of excitement in the fanbase...

Re: Boston V Darlington

Tough midweek trip away to Boston. But so was Brackley and we've proven we can go away midweek to tough places and play well (we'll ignore Southport as the opposite). Tough decision around team selection. Charman likely to be available again and I'd be tempted to bring him back in. He was bang in f...

Maybe just about fair in the end and on the evidence so far this season us and Chester will finish the season fairly close together in the table, maybe around mid-table which is probably OK after the major rebuild. Anthony Johnson fully expected a point with ten minutes to go.... https://www.youtub...

Re: Chester Away

Sounds like it will largely be the team from the Kettering game with Wheatley swapped in for Purver. Happy with that as after the first 30 minutes we were good in and out of possession. -------------------------- Taylor ---------------------- Griffiths --- Cooper --- Storey --- Hedley Rivers --- Wh...

Re: Kettering v Darlo

I thought it was a league requirement to video all games, or has this rule gone , it certainly used to be as there was always contention about not been to show our games until after midnight on Sunday. The Vanarama website is a bit of a mess at the moment.
Anyone clarify what the rules are now?

My team selection would be 4 4 2, Taylor, Griffiths Cooper Storey Hedley, Rivers Purver Hatfield Lambert, Cassidy Charman. I would like to see Rose play, can't see the point of bringing an experienced attacking midfielder who's played nearly 500 games in leagues above us and not even come off the be...

After the Southport game where should we be in terms of selection, players on the bench that night were, Lambert, Nelson, Purver, Rose and Mondal. Hopefully Ellis is fit and can start, Charman not sure if we are appealing the red card or if the suspension starts immediately, if we can play him he sh...

I think Holness deserves a crack at it he hasn't had a long run in the team that would build up more understanding with team mate. He I think has the qualities required.
Agree, we've always look better when he's played.

We need 2/3 players to give us that physicality and desire to win no matter what attitude, the Boston / Telford games showed what we are lacking.

Re: Darlington V Hornchurch Trophy Quarter Final

Darlington are bringing in goalkeeper Sol Brynn from Middlesbrough in time for Saturday’s FA Trophy quarter-final against Hornchurch. The 20-year-old will sign on loan as usual No. 1 Johnny Saltmer has sustained an injury. On January 20th Darlington signed goalkeeper Myles Boney on loan for a month ...
