Re: League restarts 6 February

Looking at the responses Ollie Bayliss has published. If the vote is loans or curtail. Then 14 in NLN would vote to curtail along with 5 in NLS - 19 in total. Wouldn't surprise me if Billericay, Bath and Braintree voted to curtail mind which would give the majority. Hypothetically, and if the above...

Re: David Johnson : We are in a sad position

An article in today’s Echo suggests that even if our league season ends we will continue in the FA Trophy. “ The Buildabase FA Trophy is currently due to continue which means Quakers will be in action on Saturday February 6 when they host National League side Wealdstone ar Blackwell Meadows. These signings have probably been in the pipeline for a few days/over a week, before the news of the funding broke.

We are, and rightly so, continuing to prepare and plan as normal, unless the rug is pulled beneath us from the DCMS. Then the club will obviously review its options.

Re: Season at risk of finishing early

I am slightly confused if it is highly likely the season will stop why is DJ sanctioning AA to take additional players on loan and additional costs, either he believes grants will be changed to loans or more worryingly it will be voted by NL to continue playing against wishes of NLN and NLS teams? N...

As others have said, any sign (no pun intended) that the relationship between the RC and the FC is improving can only be good news. Prosperous sporting teams in Darlington can only be a good thing in terms of financial income, community engagement and public health. I'm sure the infrastructure comm...

Re: Farsley coverage

One problem is the discovery of Sousa, yes the lad can be brilliant at times but it causes problems with having a formation that we know works with the players we had already. We need 3 in the middle and drop one of either Sousa, Rivers or Campbell. Soussa and Rivers are both dribblers into the box...

Last night will certainly have given AA a lot to think about. He has a plethora of attackers but cannot find and stick with a winning pair. Campbell not a lone striker but works hard , great right foot and blistering pace. Charman again great pace, two good feet, in out with injuries needs a good ru...

It's usually the cause than the outcome. A head to head collision at pace absolutely. An innocuous looking fall into each other not at pace then rarely so.

I believe Evenwood Utd will have plenty of applicants with Football league experience, a good chairman who still has cash to splash and a large squad why would you not want to get involved.

Perhaps with the advent of the vaccine, we could go back the Arena & all get tested or jabbed as a pre-condition of entry. At least it will be easy to keep the jabs in the correct freezing storage conditions!

Agree with the above. In no way is anyone saying Armstrong isn’t the right man and that he hasn’t done well, but we can still question some recent decisions. The persistence with Reid is a problem, as is the formation at home where we get over run in midfield Providing fitness is all ok I’d like to...

My starting 11 against Gateshead would be: Salter - keeps his place ahead of Minter. He needs to regain his confidence and what better way than keeping him in the team. He didn't do too much wrong on Sunday and made a couple of good saves. Yes their first goal was a mix up but bar that I thought he...

I believe 1650 capacity at BM is more than enough , this allows season ticket holders to return some older fans will stay home and watch quaker tv, others will not travel as they are in tier3 and can't come to BM. Re: EFL Clubs to use up to 5 Subs

I doubt that anyone has ever pulled a muscle by walking. But aren't you just as likely to get a muscle injury in training as you are playing a proper match? So I don't know whether schedule of fixtures is totally responsible for such injuries. Holness for example was that a muscle injury last night...
