Given previous appeals we have made they have got no chance, in fact the Telford manager had no issues with the red at the time of the interview.

Re: Wheater
I am not against signing older players but we need to look at situations like this, when a player is coming back from an operation the odds of a set back is there - it is money that is lost in the playing budget, yes injuries happen, but we seem to have a long history of signing players like this.

Re: The Top 13, Saturday January 28th 2023
I don't wanna jinx it but our next 5 games look decent on paper compared to our last 5, but then of our last 5 Chorley was the one which I'd have fancied us the most in! Wins at home and draws away are, on paper, very possible which would keep us amongst it and possibly build up some credit on 8th ...

Maybe if there's a couple of quid left over we could get that Middlesbrough PE teacher who lives in Boosbeck and has scored goals previously at this level. We've tried to sign him in the past. Answers on a postcard... Adam Boyes? He's like the modern day Paul Connor/Michael Bridges. Anyone seen him...

I've just read the Echo piece, so it looks like the story is true. This is annoying, A.A. said previously we had no need to sell anyone, so if we keep on shooting ourselves in the foot by selling off our silverware then watch the crowds start to dwindle. Beck has a release clause so the club - lega...

Feels like a shot to nothing with no pressure on us. We all know we can be brilliant one week and poor the next, but if we turn up in the same mood as we did at Scarborough anything is possible.Southend are in dire financial straits so could really do with getting a trip to Wembley, so they really ...

Re: Lambert attracting attention
With regard to Harvey Saunders, he has had very little playing time at Bristol Rovers this season. He's regularly on the bench but does not seem to come on much these days. I would imagine his contract is up at the end of the season and I expect him to leave. He looked as though he was going to be a...

I remember a match a couple of years ago, when Steve McClaren was the at the match on the balcony. A couple of drunk Darlo fans were shouting up wally with a brolly constantly, I have never been so embarrassed as a Darlo fan. We have our fair share of knob head fans, I will not take my 9 year son to...

Another fantastic win and shows after this many games that we do currently have a team deserving to be in top few in the league. Cannot remember ever having 3 different players in the leagues top scorers charts at the same time. A very important and potentially difficult January ahead which to me c...

This is quite a funny interview with Luke Burke, who has been on loan at Buxton and has been recalled. Basically he didn't want to go out on loan, and then by the sounds of it didn't want to come back

Fantastic first half, they could not live with us and could have been 4/5 again by half time. Worried again why we faded like against Brackley but this team can also battle its way to a win which is great to see. AA got substitutes exactly right with Felix pace keeping us higher up pitch and gettin...

Anyone hear Alun's comments that the players weren't happy that they would be staying overnight? I don't think its too far a journey I used to travel to Kidderminster quite a bit and its not too bad.

Lamberts strength's aren't tracking back, however I don't want Alun's team to get too negative. To achieve a playoff place you have to play to our strengths - Buxton don't score many goals, but don't concede many either, Lambert is a good lockpicker.

Obviously disappointed with the result yesterday, and I was not there, but a bit puzzled by the timing of the first 2 substitutes coming on 3 minutes before halftime. Listening to Alan’s post match interview it was a purely tactical change, but I don’t understand why you would not wait until the in...

Felix was MOTM for me today, created both the goals and worked his socks off defensively. Now that Maddison has gone and I think Rivers needs to go - whether on loan or released - I just think he is not physical enough for this league - we can hopefully get another winger in to push Felix and Lambert.

Similar game to Saturday. They were neat and tidy, but lacked anything up top. We were sloppy all over the pitch - poor passing, bad first touch, choosing wrong option. One of Lambert's worst games I think. Nothing really worked for him, and his set pieces were mostly dreadful. One thing I would sa...

I knew someone who worked at the club when James Caton was there, they said he had his head up his own arse and still believed he was a football league player and he could make it to the top. His agent has done him well to get a chance at Hereford as I thought his career was well down the toilet.

Its a shame as I used to be entertained by their post match interviews - absolutely full of themselves, but I suppose to be a football manager you have to be. It was never going to work with the location - and despite all the money Spenny have spent, they still rely on Chandler, Tait et al in their ...

I was there last night- Haaland is an absolute beast. Dortmund actually played him well until that moment. I don't think Man City play to his strengths as he likes to play on the counter attack, but City dominate the ball. That goal though....it was one of those "I was there" moments.
