Re: Wrights form

I agree with you but this isn't Coopers style of football. Hatchy is the same as Wrighty whip the balls in from the by line and he will get across his man, look at most of his headed goals and they have come this way.

Cooper and Liddle.

It is apparant after watching the first team under Cooper and the youth team under Liddle that they both have different visions of how to play football. What I am getting at is, is this good for the club as I don't think Cooper will play Liddle's players as they don't appear to be his type of player...

Re: It could be argued . . .

I totally agree with you, but until Cooper changes his tactis to a more free flowing attacking style of football, anybody who plays up front hasn't a chance. Yet again 90 minutes go by without us testing their goalkeeper. I do believe we have players in the squad who are better than this style of fo...

Hopeful for today

i personaly think the game will go ahead to today. The snow last night will have protected the pitch from the frost, so if the snow is cleared this morning and the covers left on until the last minute the pitch will be fine. The only issue will be outside the arena and the carparks, but hey if peopl...

Cooper

Now he really is scraping the barrell brining in the likes of Louis. Did none of you see Sugar on football focus last week commenting on how he was always getting the flack Spurs and ultimately it was down to the managers always saying they are 3 or 4 players short. I am sure I heard Cooper saying s...

This is what football needs a big club like Liverpool going into meltdown then the Premier league might realise that the obscene money being thrown around can't go on.

Liverpool in administration bring it on

Re: Cooper out

Like Quakerz said we have played nobody and won nought away from home.

Look at the teams at the top of the table they are all managing to bang in 3-5 goals per game against the poorer teams, we're lucky if we get one goal or one shot on target, thats how bad it is.

The thing is Cooper hasn't got a bad squad of players to work with, it's his style of play that's the problem.

Re: Cooper out

I wish he would fuck off, in my 34 years supporting Darlo this is the worst style of football I have witnessed at the club. i have never been happy with his appointment as he has only ever managed Tamworth and Kettering for fucks sake small clubs (no offence to small clubs) then got found out at Pet...

I'd get rid of cooper and his s*** style of hoofball and give Davy another go.

At leaast he tried to play football and gave our kids a go rather than Cooper who is f*cking up their careers.

Re: Eastbourne Borough Match Thread

This is absolutely appalling, yet again we have hardly troubled their outfield goalie. All we seem to do is hump it up field aimlessly.

I am still yet to be convinced by Coopers style of football. Why he hasn't brought Main on who does tend to finish off chances when he gets them.

Cooper out.

I could be wrong on this but don't the conference arrange the local derby games as a double header on boxing day and new years day which in our case will be Gateshead.

I read in todays newspaper the Mansfield had a 'Pay what you like' day at Field Mill against Gateshead yesterday and over 7000 turned out. Did a Darlo and froze with a large crowd and lost 2-0. It will be interesting to see what sort of average per head they got at the end of the day. What are peopl...

Bloody typical its stopped raining here in Aycliffe.

Its forecast no more rain this afternoon they should of left the inspection until 1.30-2.00 if there was no more rain in that time the pitch could of been playable by 3.

Re: Sacking Staunton and Getting on the Chairman's back.........

I would of agreed with you coops a couple of weeks ago but my opinion is starting to change.

Some of the players Staunton has brought in have been gash and he's forever changing the team week in week out. Our luck wont change until we start to play a settled team but time is running out.

Staunton was never really going to turn us round with the players he inherited from Todd as the majority were complete garbage.
