Re: FA Cup Q3
Dodds was our man of the match for me, looking forward to seeing more of him. Unfortunately Barbosa had an absolute stinker, even after we sang about him for what seemed like hours! Very disappointing goal, from the interview Armstrong reckons Wheater wanted to stay on, totally avoidable goal but li...

Re: FA Cup Q3
From the dim and distant FA Cup past at Hyde the name Gavin Worboys comes to mind! Jeez, nearly 30 years ago, weather and I think plastic a pitch were awful. Seem to remember Darlo went 1-0 down but that might be my fading memory. Won 3-1 in R1. Worboys got 2, Slaven got the other. Went on to lose ...

Re: Changes to league rules on Streaming live games
Quaker TV is absolutely superb. As an exile who for a while worked a lot of weekends, the live streams during covid were an absolute godsend. I’d never seen so many live Darlo matches in years! I can only echo the above comments: Thank you TFDM and all the media team, we are very lucky to have you a...

Presuming we’re under the same regionalisation in the next round, our potential opponents are: AFC Fylde or Farsley Ashington Blyth Spartans Chester Clitheroe Curzon Ashton Hyde United Lancaster City/Bury AFC Liversedge/Chorley Bamber Bridge Scarborough Athletic South Shields Stocksbridge Park Stee...

A lower ranked team at home please! However, for selfish reasons I wouldn’t say no to an away tie in the North West. Looking forward to the draw.

Re: Ben Liddle
This really is a quality signing and I see absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t be pushing for a play off spot given the quality we now have. I have to ask the question about the budget though. DJ was very clear a few weeks ago that the budget was spent up but since then we’ve brought in Felix and...

Hoping to make this one today as it’s one of my closer games. Seen a few trains cancelled from Manchester already today so hope I don’t get stranded in Southport!

Re: Spennymoor Away (KO 1pm)
I know we have to give a certain percentage of capacity to away fans but this season I'd love it if we offer them 600 tickets but in 3 stages, as and when they sell out each quota. Then cram the 200 or so they do sell, in the corner of the ground and let home fans in behind both goals. Could stick ...

Re: Spennymoor Away (KO 1pm)
Two options for this one if you’re under 8 feet tall. Get there an hour before kick off and don’t move (Take a spare bottle if necessary). If that doesn’t take your fancy take a step ladder. I wish they’d stop being pathetic and just give us the terrace behind the goal, we’ll even fill it for them.

Poetic licence was hilarious I particularly lmao at the there's the stadium moment clearly the Riverside at Boro with the Tees beside then landing in Blackwell Meadows. Dale is currently playing at Ashington, thought he’d retired! Looking at their Facebook page quite a few seem to want Fenton.

Re: Guiseley V Darlo
The majority of their first team hasn’t played since beating York 1-0 last Wednesday, ours had a heavy training session Thursday followed by a match against a good Boro under 23 side which included Josh Coburn. I dare say ours will be fitter and sharper on the first day of the season and I wouldn’t ...

Re: Guiseley V Darlo
Some of the comments on Facebook and Twitter are embarrassing, do we really have supporters who are that thick? It’s a friendly, it’s nothing more than a warm up for the season. Christ, Man United pumped Liverpool 4-0 and Arsenal did the same to Chelsea and I can guarantee neither of them will be Pr...

Re: Scarborough Away
Still a bank holiday so shouldn’t affect the gate. Police worried about supporters drinking too much pop I suppose. And they won't because it's been put back a day?Anyway of more concern is how Pete will take the news of another 1pm kick off! I’d imagine they won’t drink as much with most people go...

Re: Darlington V Middelsbrough
Did Taylor’s used to supply food at the arena? I remember at one point the sausage rolls and the pies were delicious. Maybe its something we can look into when we get our own ground. For now maybe they can stop cooking the burgers with a flamethrower, especially with the cost of fuel these days.

I wasn’t at that match but the set up when we played them last season was pathetic. 600 crammed into that corner. It was mostly flat standing so unless you were 7’6 you got a poor view of the match.

I remember people used to call him ‘Break ya legs’. Definitely chipped in with a few goals as well. Yeah that was his last season with us, played in our last game at Feethams too.

R.I.P Gary Pearson
Sad news that our former midfielder Gary Pearson has died aged 45. Remember him as a very tough tackling midfielder in our last few years at Feethams and first year at the arena. RIP Gary
