This has the advantage of not being deliberately ambiguous and misleading, does what it says on the tin, and has now been "bumped" above the other one so no-one will go there in error thinking something else has happened.

Re: Leagues New Charity

I'd imagine that if Help for Heroes is the official charity of the Football Leauge they will probably be able to get a collection at any of the grounds in the football league and the club will have to work around them. That's one possibility anyway, but when you consider that loads of the clubs in ...

What game was he watching. Apparently we should take a lot of confidence from that according to Colin. I'm struggling to see what I should be confident about. It was a much better performance all round. Where we didn't match them. [Clearly] was in front of goal. Who knows, if we'd not conceded the ...

I can't actually believe Shearer tried to defend his celebration saying it was emotion and heat of the moment. Re: You lot don't deserve a Football League club

Your comments are mis-directed turnandbounce - the vast majority of people on this board support the club and therefore DO deserve one. It's the 10-12,000 twats who went to Wembley twice, but probably never have / never will go to a home game that you should be preaching to. We just need someone wi...

Indeed yes. Hearty and well-deserved praise to all concerned. However, I seem to remember that in the past the Echo's coverage of Darlo has come in for some criticism from time to time. Mayhap our resident cricket commentators would like to comment on their coverage of a local team winning a champio...

I got a free ticket to go to the match today, and with such great weather I went with 2 others, 377 for 1 - what a fantastic achievement with Di Venuto scoring 219 not out - the most I have ever seen scored in one day. Durham CC have shown what can be done - from small beginnings they will now have...

Par score would be quarter finals.

Semi-finals would be a good result.

Less than quarters would be a disappointment.

But. On a good day, we could beat anyone, [and equally lose to anyone on their good day]

If he's currently good enough (which he is), then why shouldn't he be picked? What he said. He can still have an effect on the game, and if he doesn't, substitute him. Or bring him on if he's needed. (And it's not as if he hasn't admitted this himself - he's said he's not sure of his place in the 2...
