Re: Alun has been sacked
Another thing that puzzles me. If someone with money comes in like Singh did (ie wanting 51% and the whip hand) what happens to all the volunteers? We have a lot of them, all doing necessary stuff FOC, but would they be happy to continue doing this without payment if a wealthy Singh like character ...

Re: Alun has been sacked
Had my best years a Darlo fan with MG at the helm, but the way he left left myself and plenty others unhappy.
Trying to bringing Radged Strings back and angling for his move to York which he did behind our backs.
No thanks.

Darlington 0-3 Workington.
Not the easy draw some people seem to think it is.

Re: Buxton v Darlo
Sukar serving the final game of his suspension obviously keeps us to a back 4. So the interesting decisions are around shape further up the pitch and its probably a decision between 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 and what you do in the wide left position. Armstrong seems to be favouring playing both Nelson and ...

Blackwell Meadows is absolutely horrendous for a view.
Even under the balcony area yesterday, there was people 2/3 deep who couldn’t see the game properly.
This puts so many people off.

Delighted with this.
Something we couldn’t turn down, a fantastic player and will walk into any team in this league. Buzzing.
Now to get everyone down to Scunthorpe away tomorrow, make plenty of noise and back the lads to get those 3 points to get our season going.

I’m sure a lot of people just want us to do shite so they have an excuse to whinge.
That Tin Shed group on FB is toxic as hell, always the same type of people complaining. Will never be happy.

Some of our fans wish for this. It never works in Darlington.
Got no sympathy for them at all either, get them back to Redcar and stay there.

He only left 18 months ago didn’t he?
I think he would be fantastic in the midfield alongside the likes of Moke, Platt and Liddle.

Just an update.
I've been informed that the club have funds available for this overnight stay, so we don't need to fundraise for this stay at present.
But the club will keep this kind of thing in mind for future reference

Need someone to snap me out of this lethargy around this season. Never known as many genuine hard core fans feeling the same. Some even saying they can take it or leave it which is unusual too. Little to no activity on the message board either just a few days to kick off is also unusual. I know a l...

Overnight Stays
Following on from the questions posed on the night of the Fans Forum, DJ confirmed we currently only have the budget for x1 overnight stay this season and that's been used already for the Hereford game 2nd game in. I've had a chat with several members of the board and DJ etc, we estimate an overnigh...

I fully expect him to stay within the 1st team squad, he’s looked sharp in pre-season.
I think we will see a lot of him, lots of potential.

Re: Fans Forum 21/07/23
I asked the question about costs of an overnight stay and it’s believed to be about 3k a time now. We can only afford 1 overnighter and that’s for Hereford. As we’ve got a long daunting trip down to Bishops Stortford at the start of September, I’m open to suggesting a little fundraiser to get a stay...

And before anyone wades in, of course I don't condone what happened at Scarborough. I'm worried that we are heading to a point where the only acceptable way to behave is to sit, with your arms crossed, and an angelic smile on your face. I am sure some of this fanbase would absolutely love that :thi...

I wonder if any of the Boro lads will catch the eye of AA and perhaps he'll bring 1 or 2 on loan during the course of the season. Well, Pete made the game. Bumped into him at the ground. On the match itself, thought we looked solid enough and matched Harrogate for most of the game. Hard working performance, we looked really good going forward and if we’d buried one of those chances. Could have been a completely different game....
