Re: Abuse at Scarborough

Desperate measures if our defence creaks next season? Incidently, how many vehicles have played for Quakers? We must have had a Ford in our time, wasn't Mick Tait built from an old Tank and somewhere in the old Soviet Bloc there must have been a sporty little car called a 'Bortic' - a nice runner i...

Re: Abuse at Scarborough

Good grief. So we've finally got to the point where vigilantes walk among us at a football match equipped with cameras. What next? A stadium ban for swearing or shouting in an angry way? I'm glad most of my football watching is behind me now and I've been able to let off some steam without fretting...

I wonder how many can name players that played for both City and Darlo, minimum one senior game.

I will start it off, Shay Logan.

Re: National League North 23/24 - FA League Allocations

It's not emotional though, it's a consequence of the stupid system they have put into the step below ours where they gave four leagues parity despite three of the four being southern leagues. The inevitable consequence is that it further imbalances our level. It's not only unfair to clubs like ours...

Re: National League North 23/24 - FA League Allocations

Some interesting moves lower down. The North West Counties is now a 24 team division yet the Midlands League is an 18 team league - and they have Northwich Victoria and Winsford in it now having moved laterally. The other 2 that would have likely moved would have I imagine been whoever is closest t...

I think that's six years in a row they've lost.
It's five. Every season since 17/18 (not counting 20/21 of course).

I have a question for you, Spen.

Why do you continuously post on here, whilst also concurrently attempting to wind up Darlo fans on social media? Genuine question.

Was reading that at Gloucester all the players are out of contract and it looks like most could go. They are in the process of changing owners and may also lose their manager. I notice that the player we had with us for a very short time at the end of the previous season, Dom McHale (who didn't fea...

They are five points clear and this far superior goal difference amounts to just four goals. Bishop can’t catch them with only 1 game remaining. Re: Will we even make the play-offs?

People go on about our run not being great but there are a few times in the mix on similar runs. All the more frustrating for me. We could have had a playoff place nailed on, and had the luxury of possibly resting/rotating players. It was always likely that we would have a blip at some point, but 8...
